I am a former client. I used to go to Toronto physiotherapy but then I stopped going there because I’m going to a gym to workout. I used to see a chiropractor, Kelly. She was really good. I liked her a lot. She was happy , smiling. I used to see Cynthia for physio. I didn’t liked each session with her because I find it kind of boring and she’s not fun. And she’s not very happy. And I didn’t liked her. Megan was really nice at the front desk and she looks very happy. I’m not really a big fan of physio and I never liked physio.

I'm feeling scammed. My wife and I had a car accident and the insurance company sent us here to do physio. First thing that they had us do was sign a waiver that we weren't sent there by the insurance company (which we signed, obviously) (first red flag). We saw Bridget Coley who was a physiotherapist since 2019 - per CPO.I did my first session and then went back for my second and I wasn't getting the results I expected. I paid $193.50 for the initial consult and then again $193.50 a 30 minute session (apparently this is 90% because they were going to charge the remainder to the insurance company directly meaning my 30 minute visit cost $215.00). This was a lot higher than what they advertise on their website. I then made a few excuses to not go again because I wasn't getting the help I needed. My wife on the other hand continued to go but she wasn't getting the results expected as she felt that the treatment was not helping as well as my treatment was in another place. She then got a bill... $232.50 as 90% of her visit for 30 minute sessions. (That is $258.33 for 30 minutes) That is $516.66 per hour! That is GROSSLY higher than the rates for physiotherapy on their website being $93 for 30 mins or $144 for 60 mins and also GROSSLY higher than what is allowed by HCAI rates for professional services.I feel that they just jump on people who were injured in accidents because they can bill exuberant amounts as they know it will just be paid out by the insurance company. What I don't like is that I was sent here, didn't get the proper treatment and was overcharged.I went to another place and I am thankfully feeling a LOT better with treatment that works for me.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!I was terrified to book a physio appointment, and waited far too long. From Megan at the reception desk to seeing Rebecca these last few months, this was truly the best thing I’ve done for myself. They made everything so easy and so clear, that I don’t know why I was anxious in the first place.Thank you again!

I’ve seen both Lindsay and Heather at Toronto Physiotherapy for treatment for Lymphedema after a lymph node dissection. Both of them are amazing! Lindsay is so upbeat and positive, and so knowledgeable. She taught me how to do self massage to help treat my condition before radiation and let me know what would be safe to do during treatment. Both she and Heather made me feel very comfortable. I saw Heather my second time there and she worked wonders! She broke up some cording from surgery, which made me so much more comfortable, and she brought down my arm swelling. Megan, the administrator is so nice, and will call when cancelled appointments pop up because the therapists get booked up so quickly it can be hard to get an appointment without a wait. The wait for appointments is the only downside, but it’s worth it. The office itself is very clean, fresh, and welcoming.

Toronto Physiotherapy is a unique practise in Toronto. While competent therapists share very similar training - individual practises also reflect how connected the therapist is to the injury or condition that you have sought help to diminish. Lindsay Davey was a referral from Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, who directed me to her practise. Lindsay took the time - and continues to do so - to understand my recovery journey in some ways more thoroughly (and certainly differently) than my doctors. I have fibrosis of the face and neck from surgery and radiation and other related issues from my cancer treatment. Her hugely informed practise now feels deeply imbedded in my cancer management. Physiotherapy is a broad term that glosses over the individual practises that are required to address sometimes very personal and/or specific circumstances. Not every injury is a golf injury! I highly recommend Toronto Physiotherapy not just because they are well managed and organized, but also because they are a practise of specialists within the field of physiotherapy and recovery. I am also seeing a practitioner there for a shoulder injury who has demonstrated the same focus on my treatment plan. There are many good physiotherapy practises in Toronto. This shop, though, stands above the rest as a uniquely guided wellness centre. Highly recommend.
