Great group of people. Did an Excellent job! Found damaged areas and fixed them. Fixed shoddy work done by previous roofer. Friendly, courteous, hard working. Did everything they said they would and then some. Cleaned up everything after.

As a new home owner, the task of getting a new roof seemed insurmountable. I was expecting to pay 10% of the price of my house for my new roof, based on the quotes from other roofers. After I received my quote Accell, I was not so worried anymore. They were extremely professional and quick with their service, and managed to fit me in during a busy time of the season. My shingles held up during the recent wind storms, and I can sleep sound knowing I have a solid roof over my head! Thanks Accell!

John Acton hired my roofing business to complete his roofing projects over a period of 4 years.John was a very oppressive employer, using various tactics (such as making me wait for pay) and using words to be-little and degrade me and my crew. It was a very toxic work environment, and I was the one who eventually terminated our working relationship.John Acton the owner of Accell Roofing told me on several occasions when asked to not tell his clients I was a sub-contractor but rather an employee.John would leave the country to go travel for two weeks at a time and leave me the sub-contractor responsible for all the clients needs and all the work. No person of management was available during these times.The final straw for me was the May 24th weekend of 2018 when I was renovating my home and my wife was expecting our first child. I had my bathroom torn apart and this was the last long weekend before our daughter was expected on June 12th. John decided to make me wait for my pay that weekend and instead go to his cottage in Port Franks. I did not receive the money I needed to purchase my renovation materials, instead I had to wait until after the weekend and not be install the new bathtub and vanity. I decided then and there that I could no longer work for someone who has so little disregard for someone who works as hard as they can.After years of no communication John Acton leaves this review on my Business Google Reviews about the time I spent completing roofing projects for his company. John is essentially valuing his company as a 1star business. He has also more recently uploaded a photo of a crew working on a roof not wearing any safety equipment, ropes or harnesses.John Acton for some unknown reason is still fascinated in trying to belittle and disrupt the lively hood of myself and my family.Here is John Acton review of Accell Roofing.I had the company owner do installations for me for several years as a subcontractor ending in 2018. The installations were decent however I had to constantly remind the crew to use safety gear and the WSIB clearance was invalid on occasion. The clean up was often quite bad. The company name was at one point Jenkins contracting and then Top Tier roofing. My understanding is that both companies are now closed. The last contact I had with the company owner was to confirm an HST number for tax purposes as the one given to me by him was invalid. The owner was rude and insulting to me when I asked for a valid account number however He did eventually give me valid HST information."John Acton if you would like to resolve this matter I am available by email at your convenience."

John and his crew at Accell Roofing are top notch!! They are professional, efficient, clean, and reasonably priced. We couldn't be more pleased with the outstanding job. If you're looking for a roofing company that excels in all areas look no further.

I would highly recommend John and his team! They just finished our roof and installed two skylights - one standard size, and one oversize custom order (which some roofing companies wouldn't touch). The service we received was second to none - the job was completed as expected, on time, and for the price quoted. John was very professional and quick to answer any questions we had. The job site was cleaned up daily and the finished roof looks great!! Very happy with this company!!

Accell Roofing does amazing work and very professional. John is great to deal with. I do subcontract work for John and I see his finished product on a weekly basis and it's exceptional quality. I have and will continue to refer many people to Accell Roofing. They show up when they say they will and do an amazing job at a competitive price.

John did a consult for my 2000sq ft roof and was very open and honest. While we ended up getting the service done elsewhere (due to family connections, we got a better deal), we would've went with Accell otherwise. John was courteous, informative, and patient. He answered all our questions and was very professional. He was transparent about the costs and frank about what needed to be fixed and what could be held off/done differently to save us money. He was also quick to respond when other roofing companies weren't. We would consider Accell for our future needs.

A worker offered side work for cash... I paid $1000 and the 2 workers showed up late and didn't even do an 8 hour workday. Didn't do the work to code... no underlay, no trim pieces, no drainage straps. So now my shingle warranty is null and void. Pay a professional Company!!! Never Hire from Kijiji ! Lesson learned

In 2020 I had a functioning roof that had never leaked. I decided to be proactive and get some quotes for a new roof. I chose Accell to complete the work. He replaced the shingles and soon after I had multiple leaks in my garage and home, along with a mess left all over the deck including nails which we are still finding. After several repair attempts I got a second opinion, which revealed the step flashing was installed improperly causing the leaks. Accell refused to repair the damages to my drywall caused by the leaks. After a two year ordeal with Accell Roofing with constant back and forth and lack of accountability taken by Accell, I would not recommend their services.
