West Bay Cafe is a bright and cozy spot to grab a tasty gluten free and plant based bite to eat ! Rox put alot of detail into the shop and I look forward to visiting again.

Beautiful location, with a nice little menu and a selection of treats and drinks. The interior is beautiful with lots of seating. It’s nice to have a vegan and gluten free place to go that also has sugar free options. The iced cap and tofu scramble wrap where great and very affordable.

I've so far had the breakfast wrap and a couple of sweet treats, and they've been good. The GF wrap is small-ish but very tasty. I'll be back to try more. Peppermint Nanaimo bar. Pumpkin Spice ball.

Ordered a veggie sandwich and I was surprised at how small it was. the portion wasn’t a regular sandwich size, more like a small slider size. You should really list this not as a sandwich but a slider because I think it might mislead others. Better to be upfront about the size because the menu gives a different impression. I hope this changes because it did taste good!

Such a cute place to grab a plant based meal. Loved the breakfast wrap and smoothie I had. Enjoyed the space very much and the service was great!

They pay their staff minimum wage, don't open a business if you can't pay your staff! No one can survive Victoria on $14.50/hr(after taxes).Yes $16.75 is about $14.50 after taxes.TIPS ARE NOT PART OF WAGE & THEY ARE NOT GUARANTEED! Tips are a bonus from a customer not something for owners to lean & rely on. If your prices are high, more than likely people will tip less.

Even though I'm not a vegetarian or vegan, I do appreciate having another healthy option in the neighborhood. The first visit, my husband and I enjoyed two very good smoothies - highly recommended! The second time was just for a quick oat milk latte. I'll try a different plant based milk next time. This is a great location to stop while on our regular dog walks. My only suggestion would be to provide a little something so I could tie up my dog while placing my order.Best of luck for your new business!

Pretty nice little cafe for the location, selection and atmosphere but not so much for what counts (to us). My daughter and I can't have any animal milk products so we typically frequent vegan establishments when we go out for a treat. Makes ordering easier. The first time I went, I ordered a few treats and two iced capps. The treats were great and the drinks were even better. At $9 a drink it is definitely a luxury item. Something for a special occasion. When we went back I expected the same excitement over the drinks and everything else.We ordered 3 different meal items, a smoothie, iced capp and 2 desserts. For starters, we got the dessert first since it is ready made. It was handed to me right after payment. It was super warm out so I asked if we could refrigerate it until our food came and we were told no. So it melted, and we ate it that way before our meal. It felt a bit wasted.Food was okay. Two different types of flax rolls, good enough. The sandwich we ordered was very small. My daughter loved the smoothie. She said she could drink it every day!The iced capp tasted SO watery, not at all like the first time. It felt like I spent $9 on a cup of ice with a bit of everything else mixed in.When we were finished eating we were asked if we would like to refrigerate our dessert. All in all, I'm happy to spend what we did on a local, healthy enough, dairy free treat for me and my fam, but not the meal that we had. There are many other places we would prefer to go. Which is too bad since this place is nice and close.Edited to add - This is my first time not leaving a 5 star Google review.

Went here as I like to support a local business. I ordered a coffee with milk. I was told that they only have plant based milk for the coffee. I was shocked. I cant see how this makes any business sense. Majority of people want a coffee with cream/milk. People will have to go to another cafe/coffee shop to get this and maybe spend extra money on goodies/food. Cute little cafe, hope you make it.
