Saltimbocca Ristorante
I decided to try this restaurant as it is right in my hometown of Tecumseh. This will be my first and last visit to Saltimbocca.The food was actually good and delicious tasting, but that's where the positives end.The service is abysmal and our waiter was rude. I ordered a glass of wine that never arrived at the table, and was told that I am Expected to order an Entree" even though I wasn't terribly hungry. This lack of courtesy was embarrassing for not only myself

Perhaps the best dining experience my wife and I ever had in a local restaurant. Our server Alfie was outstanding, very attentive to details and spot on with his recommendations. His service made all the difference from a good experience to an amazing one. That is not an overstatement. The food was cooked to perfection and presented expertly by the Chef. If you want a delicious meal and a fantastic dinner experience, this is the place.

Very unassuming place. Based on the outside I wasn't sure what to expect. It's in a small plaza in a more residential area. I'm glad we went however. Our server was fantastic, the food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. I'd definitely recommend giving this place a shot.

We had new York strip steak, risotto, calamari and a lovely little pasta and carbonara sauce app paired with a martini, an old fashioned and a bottle of red. Everything was superb. The chef/owner truly knows his craft as do the wait staff. Alfie was a consummate professional host and helped to craft a delicious and balanced gastronomical experience. This is the place you want to head to for a slow-paced, intimate dinner.

The high quality service at this restaurant is matched only by the delicious food. Our waiter, Alfie, was incredible, and never let any of our glasses go less than half full. It was the perfect venue for my sister's intimate wedding reception with a formal, cozy atmosphere. Everything was made fresh from scratch, which showed in the flavour. The calamari was the best I have ever had, with a very unique creamy jalapeno dipping sauce and fresh tomato sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant either for an evening out, or an event, such as a party or wedding. Their price point is reasonable and the food is unforgettable!

We decided to try this restaurant because we had noticed it many times before in our travels. The food was good and the atmosphere was quiet so you could hear yourself talk. There was a waiter and a waitress working that night. We had Alfie but we overheard the waitress taking care of her tables beside us because the restaurant is small and quiet. She was very friendly and funny. She even had talked to us a few times while she was clearing some dishes from our table. We're not sure what her name was but she was fun and enjoyable. She put a smile on our faces :)

If you haven't discovered this place, you are really missing out! What an amazing hidden gem in Tecumseh! The food was outstanding and bought fresh every day. Portions are just right, and the prices beat anyone for this type of fresh, Italian eating. Our server, Alfie, was super helpful with suggestions and very professional for a fine dining experience.The atmosphere could use a pick me up to provide some warmth to the restaurant experience, but in the end, it's all about the food and the service!Make reservations for any night of the week, since there is a small staff and it's not a huge restaurant.

To start...the food was amazing! We had the steak, calamari, carbonara, and homemade tiramisu. Perfection! The waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu, he told us that the chef goes to the market to pick up fresh meat daily. If the chef doesn't like the way the meat looked that day, he won't pick it up. The waiter was very accommodating and pleasant. He mentioned it was the 3 of them that only work there, so they take pride in customer service! Will be returning and recommending!

We celebrated at this restaurant with our in laws. Rachel was extremely attentive and gave excellent reccomendations. Unfortunately we ate so quickly no photos we taken. Chef Borek is very talented. Highly recommend this restaurant!
