They came highly recommended from a general contractor friend so went with them for a complete windows/door replacement on a rental property.Although the product itself seems fine, there were several issues with the purchasing process and the installation.- Error made in initial estimate by salesperson which once the installer came to confirm measurements created additional costs.- That correction was not applied to the fabrication order, so the installer showed up on site with the wrong product (door).- Installers didn't protect hardwood floors and left mud caked all over the place. Including under my kitchen table where they sat to eat lunch. When I pointed it out they replied that they just installed windows and didn't clean.- When they came back to install the correct door that they would have to open the drywall to install a new lintel. No way around it, but finding out last minute during the 4th visit to the property like that wasn't the turnkey solution I expected. Found out later that they hadn't replaced the vapour barrier behind the wall portion they cut out and replaced. Luckily my drywaller was curious enough to check.Spoke to the customer service rep who was very understanding and courteous, sent photos to prove I wasn't being overly meticulous with the cleaning. Unfortunately in the end they apologized and nothing more. I was forthcoming in stating I wouldn't call them for a quote for my other properties since Fenetres Verdun was within $100 of their submission and had given me impeccable service in the past.

Their windows are horrible quality. After 11 years 3/4 of my windows have fog in it and they say it was only guaranteed 10 years. I strongly recommend going with another company who guarantees the windows for life. Called company and aren’t even willing to offer discount on replacing them.

The quality of these windows are very, very bad!Our house is 8 years old and all of the windows leak and let in air which causes them to ice in the winter. We will have to replace all the windows. I would never buy from them again. Do your homework and make sure you buy good quality windows.

This company starts off well, but then doesn't finish their job with professionalism or quality. We contracted them to do several windows throughout our condo. They got sizings wrong, materials in incorrect stylings, and A MONTH LATER out installation is still technically unfinished. This is due to them sending out a technician with incorrect sized stylings to our last remaining window... 3 TIMES! It is still not done and they are now not responding to my emails.

Woiw, what an experience. They installed windows on commercial property, they leaked, and then they said it wasn't their problem!!! Thanks Magistral for your horrible service!

Don't give any good reviews and read your contract first, or better yet read the reviews already posted. Our contract didn't give any time before problems could occur. On the 11th year 7 Windows had to be changed and as the years continued 7 more will be needed to change and it won't be with them. They have subcontractors that I would need to pay with their (Magistral) windows that I was told from them. No way! I know some mattress are guaranteed for 10 years but Windows? Mine were not mentioned. Good luck and be carful.

After 7 years, 50% of the windows are now having 'fog' issue. This is obviously a qulaity issue as someone would think that their product would last much longer then just past the warranty coverage. Call customer service and the only option is to replace them. Should i expect to change 50% of my windows every 7 years ??

Excellent service. The very professional employees at Magistral gave me much needed advice and guided me to the best options for my new windows. The installation was done swiftly and the workers were very clean. I have had my windows for just over 8 months now and am thoroughly satisfied. Thanks again, and a special thanks to all the folks at the showroom who were very helpful and courteous.

I had my patio door installed 2 1/2 years ago now the door will not close. I called june15 and spoke to Marlene in the after service department. She said she would call me back in 1 or 2 hours. It has been 6 days and no response even to my emails. Totally unacceptable.
