I went with my partner as he needed a hair cut. After he was done he asked me how is it?"I did show a reference picture of roughly how I wanted it for length.He doesn't get hair cuts a lot so I was trying to figure out if it needed to be a bit shorter to save on time coming back to get it cut. I never said anything was wrong with the hair cut I just wasn't sure if it needed to be shorter or not.Immediately maxin went off on a 5 minute tangent about how he cuts hair and then said to me " You were too busy watching your phone rather than watching how I did your partners hair cut."first off

I've been here three times and have left please with each of them. The atmosphere is great, he's talkative, and puts a lot of work into each cut at a pace faster than I've ever seen for the hair I bring him.

I'm EXTREMELY picky about my hair. I've tried out a lot of barbers in Vancouver over the years and have a very small list of people I go to.Maxim is one of the best in Vancouver. I go to him regularly for my haircuts for both his skill (which is top notch), and the care he delivers to each of his customers - and that says something coming from someone who's as picky as I am. He never rushes through anything.That is all that needs to be said. Always a satisfying experience.

Maxim is a very nice man who is enthusiastic about cutting hair! His studio is lovely, and his work is too. When I visited his shop I wasn’t able to pay for parking and he went out of his way to go put a loonie in the meter for me while cutting my hair. Please go see him and enjoy your experience!
