Sew Local Stitch Lounge
Sewing has always peaked my interest and when I found out there was a local shop that taught lessons I signed up right away. Since then I have had nothing but amazing experiences with Sew Local. The customer service is phenomenal, the classes are very informative and lucky for me the teachers are patient with helping me every step of the way. I love the whole family at Sew Local, you won’t be disappointed shopping here!

Nice selection of fabrics and decent amount of sewing notions. One of the staff was friendly and helpful, the other was not welcoming, even verging on rude to a new customer. I will only go back if I really need what they have. Then again, I don't usually need what they sell, so it's not that important to me. They have a nice set up, it was only the attitude of one person who spoiled it for me.

Love this little place! Marja is a phenomenal instructor who has changed how I feel about sewing, they have a great selection of fabric, and have lots of helpful tips.

Best fabric and notions store in town! I’ve also taken many of their classes including their video sessions. They are accessible and sensory friendly. If it weren’t for April and Marja I wouldn’t be the sewist I am today! I really appreciate that Sew Local is a safe space!

I love this store! They always have the colours of embroidery floss that I need! I recently placed a curb side order and it was filled in a very timely manner, with paper packaging and they even gave me the cutest sticker :)

Great place , Friendly and fast service . Had an older baby chair but the removable seat was riped. I had never been to that shop but decided to go in and asked if they can repair it. The lady at the counter said that they could fix it and told me that it would be ready in 1 week. As promised it was . They had redone the whole seat with all new material and it looked amazing .Was really impressed with the service. Am definitely returning .

Sew Local is one of my favourite little shops to visit! They sell beautiful fabrics and the staff are very knowledgable. I really like the owners and how they are always willing to share some tips and tricks.

Great place to work and shop,I've worked here since we opened, and it's such a positive environment. I also love the freedom I have to stand up for myself and call out bigots, I don't think I'd be able to do that working customer service anywhere else <3 I also get to spend so much time hearing about all the cool projects our wonderful customers make and spend my days helping people pick fabric! (Which is honestly my favourite part of sewing anyway!)

This shop has such a great vibe! I love their funky fabrics and the cute patterns and craft projects they have available! The folks who work there are super friendly, kind, helpful, and sweet! I love that they are openly feminist, queer, and size inclusive! I've taken a couple classes with them (before Covid) and they were so chill and fun. I definitely recommend!!
