Terrible place, definitely not the place to go for help with printing resumes or looking for work. Not user or people friendly. Actually a deterrant. Avoid and go to library instead.

If you're eligible the process might take some time, but it's totally worth it. They have many resources (coaches, financial support, workshops) and ways they can help if you're looking for Training, Employment or both.

WorkBC has lots of resources, however, I have used them in the past just to print resumes and look through their job ads and it would seem this service is no longer offered. You have to sign up and be registered. I liked it more when they had drop in services. The reason I don't use their full services is that they are geared to help people get jobs, not help with more advanced careers. If you have proper education and experience in your field definitely hit up the non government funded employment agencies instead. If you are looking for work in the grocery/ retail/food service industry, part time work or very entry level reception/office assistant positions then WorkBC can help.

3 times in a row I've had my initial sit down appointment to help me figure out what services I require be cancelled. Usually about an hr before the appointment.

Their staff are nice but not knowledgeable so you’ll never get work through them, don’t bother signing up it’s a waste of time. It’s best to get help through a work agency, or Facebook

When it comes to government agencies I find thay r very bland and have no sense Of humour. Not to mention cove 19 in 2020 has every one within the system kinda offspring. The overall morale within these agencies is very bleak. Perhaps there just drinking too much coffee .

They check on me periodically via emails and follow up calls and assist me with what they can or direct me in other avenues of services that is out of their scope :)

Useless. I was offered a job and need tools and because ICBC hasn't sent my photo ID yet they refused to help me even though my expired ID clearly shows who I am and I'm now going to lose the job opportunity because I'm unable to start tomorrow because I cannot replace the tools stolen from me at my last job. Unreal!
