We have employed Colin (Ennea's lead builder) on 3 separate occasions and have always been extremely pleased with his professionalism, expertise, honesty, problem-solving ability, and very high quality work. Cam, the co-owner of Ennea is also a great guy. Unlike other builders we have dealt with, these guys are very straight-laced and transparent - no funny business with billing and they stand by their work. They are a pleasure to deal with, very open to conversation about how to best accomplish the task at hand and are highly skilled. The three projects we have engaged Colin on include: building a house in the gulf islands, replacing a front porch and staircase in our city house, and fixing some major mistakes by another builder that we hired because Colin was not available at the time we needed the project done. Last summer my spouse's Gulf Island home, needed a new roof, and we were having a difficult time finding any builder willing to take on a job outside of the lower mainland. Ennea Projects was highly recommended by a colleague and friend of ours. We contacted Ennea Project and explained the situation; a situation that required immediate attention, as the 26-year-old roof had developed a significant water leakage problem and was unsafe. Colin & Cam (the owners) made us comfortable right from the start, they provided a professional assessment of the damage, and compiled a reasonable quote for the work, which they explained in detail. The qualified Ennea crew was assembled quickly, and they completely replaced the roof up to current standards within the estimated quote and timeframe. They communicated with us at every stage of the project, so we always understood what was going on and what the work entailed. Ennea’s expertise was evident and Colin and Cam were very personable and easy to work with. The job site was always clean and tidy. As seniors it was important to us that we had a recommendation for a qualified builder and to feel trust as many friends have had negative experiences in similar situations.
