Excellent place, food, service and time spent there. Staff was incredible with us and they let us comfortable with our baby. Food was fantastic! It's a 5 star place absolutely. If you are seen this review, you should consider go to this place.

Too pricey for a poor table service; not proper set up was done (a glass of water, olive oil & vinegar, salt & pepper and some bread would be a must for a fancy" place like that). If i have to ask for these things it means I'm not welcomed. Food was just ok

The service was wonderful, as was the food. The staff were very welcoming to us and to everyone in the pub. The calamari was exceptional. Great food and reasonably priced for the area. Music was so good that we had to ask what playlist they used. Totally relaxing and chill place. Would eat here again in a heartbeat!

Met up with some friends here to have a drink and some dinner (or so we thought). To keep this short, service was basically non existent and not experienced - took us an hour to get our drinks and some glasses of water (some of which were entirely ice and others didn't even have ice which was weird). On top of the long wait, there was a VERY long hair suspended in my friends drink. We decided to not order food, and go to a different restaurant. Finally, the restaurant's identity felt confused as this is two in one: The Pier Pub and Cafe Chianti. I'm bummed because the location is nice but I will not be a returning customer.

We called in for a quick pint on a cold Tuesday evening. Pier Pub is connected to Cafe Chianti which is a cool concept. Kristy served us and introduced us to Roger the owner. Lovely people! The small pub has a British feel with Chesterfield armchairs and a lovely hardwood bar. A pint is $8 which isn't bad. I would recommend checking their opening hours during the winter but if they are open call in for some hospitality. The menu was simple but very classically pub style.

So excited at this restaurant opening. We ordered from the soft opening menu, but I posted photos of the full menu which comes into effect on July 25th. We had Caesar salads which are hard to do a new take on, but the crispy kale topping was a delightful surprise. The service was friendly and prompt. This pub shares a location with the newly reopened Cafe Chianti(also exciting), so access to the bathroom is through Cafe Chianti which is a bit odd. Overall, you cannot beat the location. There are indoor and outdoor seating options, however it is not a big venue, so if there is a cruise ship in town, getting a table will be problematic. Very excited to see another addition to the already spectacular Halifax waterfront.

The Pier Burger was amazing, fresh bun (amazing from a local bakery I hear), the burger it self was great, with some home made fries. The plate was overwhelming with fries and a good size burger for $19! The atmosphere was mixed, fancy pub. Great location!

What a wonderful experience visiting your establishment. From the food to the hospitality, I was very impressed. I recommend this place as a MUST to everyone.

We dined in and ordered garlic roasted pappardelle with an ingredient missing in the food because they didn't have it! The food was good except the grilled chicken was too dry! The food came rather late although just a few patrons were there. Items missing on the table were salt and pepper shakers, olive oil (essential for an Italian restaurant). We probably won't go there again!

Excellent, dropped in on a Saturday afternoon. Chelsie was our wait staff/bartender. The chicken sandwich was amazing. My wife got the fish & chips and it was a very large piece of haddock.My only complaint, was that the beer selection is limited, with 5 local choices.Charlotte did make an excellant old fashion
