Make Sure all work is in a formal quote very detailed for work to be performed and get extras or add on’s in writing the exact work to be done and the price in advance

We called Jake to give us an estimate for some landscaping on our property. He came and saw what we wanted done right away. We were hopeful. He said he would give us a quote in 3 or 4 days. He didn't. We called again and he said he would give us a quote that day or the day after. he didn't. My husband called and Jake told him he would get us a quote. Never heard from him again. Needless to say we are not calling a fourth time.
