Terrible product, we purchased 3 dual shades from Lowe's and only 3 years after purchased we started to notice cracking/rips at the edges of all our shades. Unfortunately, one of the cracks/rips started to get longer and longer. The Fabric warranty says 5 years!!The company also expects us to send them to them to be assessed and let us know if they will fix or replace, but how does undermount the product? (Will likely have to pay to get it demounted) Also, so many things with the return for assesment process could worsen the rip, closing fully the shade, during transit, during reopening the shade for inspection... What is the expectation here?

Terrible craftsmanship and awful customer service. Recently purchased a BetterFit shade for a tilt & turn window. When it arrived, the product was heavily scratched, had a poor fit, and one corner of the shade had clearly been improperly assembled. Upon writing to their customer service department, I was told that since I installed the product myself, Maxxmar would not accept any form of responsibility for the damaged product, further saying that my installation was the likely culprit for the damage. To be clear, the installation of this product involves removing an adhesive tape and sticking it to a window so I really can’t imagine a scenario under which the product could get scratched the way it was when it came out of the box.Sadly, my experience seems to be consistent with that of many other. Don’t waste your time or money.

Maxxmar has been wonderful with any issues I have had with my shutters.I recently had them cleaned and a few enduralink connectors broke within a matter of a few days Jammenna was able to help and send me a bag of enduralink connectors to fix it's super easy. Thanks for looking after me and keeping these beautiful shutters looking fabulous.A++++++++++

I ordered custom PVC shutters from Maxxmar (through an authorized dealer) this summer. The shutters are unsatisfactory and a disappointment.1. They are not aligned properly/equally spaced.2. They don't close properly in either direction (I am aware that shutters are not blackout window coverings), however the gaps between the louvers vary in size significantly.There are scratches on the louvers that are definitely not a part of the finishing and cannot easily be removed without ruining the finish.4. The spacing between the louvers and the rails on some of the shutters are inconsistent.5. There are gaps between the frame and the window which let's in varying amount of lights.The shutters fall very short of being aesthetically pleasing as used to describe their shutters on the Maxxmar website. I certainly would not recommend Maxxmar and have just recently told my sister who is looking for new window coverings to explore other companies/manufacturers.

As a dealer I stand behind Maxxmar. Maxxmar is a Canadian company which is important to me as a consumer. The blinds are great quality with many options and it is always easy to get ahold of someone if there are any issues which have always been resolved. I have installed roller shades both motorized and continuous loop, as well as cellular shades for many clients all of whom are happy. Do note that the Maxxmar motors are louder than the Somfy. I have the motorized roller shades in my own home and they are clean and modern. I also love the app which is very user friendly allowing you to run the blinds off your phone.

I have their full blind system in my home. I raised concerns with both mechanical and manual. They are currently working to resolve both. Will be happy to give 5* when everything is done as promised.

I paid to install manual and powered blinds on 20+ windows in my home. While I am having some concerns, I appreciate that maxxmar is working to correct.I will be happy to give full 5* when all resolved.

Purchased this Maxxmar blind from Home Depot. Their sales person did not mention that the valance was not big enough to hide the “white” at the top of the blind. This is an eyesore. I purchased 2 of the same blind for over $1,000 …… so beware if you don’t like this look, because I really don’t like it. I have been told it’s how they’re made. I have Levolor and Hunter Douglas blackout pull blinds and their valance covers the entire roll. Very disappointed in this product.

Two years ago I ordered Maxxmar cellular blinds for my living room and dining room in December 2020 through Home Depot. Within not even 6 months of receiving them the cords were fraying and breaking. To make a very long and frustrating story short, I have been dealing with the Customer Service department…or the lack thereof. Many emails and phone calls with very little or no communication whatsoever. Finally, not even 6 months ago I received a new set and guess what!!!??? THEY ARE BREAKING AS WELL!!! The window on the left is the only one that I can force to go up, very slowly. The middle and right ones can not go up any higher than the middle of the window and all three of them stay crooked. This is the worst blind company to make such a poor and defective product. I do not recommend them to anyone and I have absolutely no confidence in them!

We bought blinds for our entire house about 4 years ago. We love the blinds but had a problem with one. They insisted we bring the matching one also and fixed them both quickly without any problems. Very easy. Diane in shipping was very helpful. We highly recommend them!!
