Shop here all the time. Yes there is more selection of you drive an hour to the city, but if you need something at 4:00 on a Saturday afternoon you will be happy you supported them.

We really enjoy going here. Prices are good, stock is plentiful. Family owned and operated which adds to a great experience since they always recognize us and make us feel welcome. They are willing to spend the extra time with us to make sure we always get the right thing for the job.

The staff is generally good, but the owner needs a lesson in customer service. He was extremely rude to my father, who had contractors waiting on the wood he was promised that morning and it didn't show up. By noon time he finally went in to ask when he could expect his delivery (so he could stop paying people to stand around). He got a snarky response instead of an apology. The wood was ordered well in advance so it wasn't like this was a last minute request. This is a small town and we try to support our own, but if that's how you want to conduct your business, sir, our entire family will take out business elsewhere.
