To the staff at Gemst: Thank you so much for your exceptional service and help in finding a solution to getting 2 framed items across the country. You are so easy to deal with, you had no problem preparing my package on short notice and on a very quick turn around time. You made what seemed like a huge problem so easy to resolve. Don’t go there. Horrible customer service. Very rude clerk.Will try to force you into buying an expensive frame and if you don’t they will mock you and laugh at you.For a basic and simple 50x70cm frame he wanted to charge us 75$. Found one in IKEA for 29.99$.This guy lives on a different planet.

Very rude people. Not customer oriented at all. Only want to upsell you the horrible frames that nobody wants to buy.Not flexible for customer requests.When I asked for a specific frame that I personally liked the counter clerk started belittling and insulting me.I am sorry for asking for the frame I liked. I promise I won't do it again.

I came to the store to frame an art print and I was very well advised on the choice of mat and frame based on the colors and patterns of the canvas. The staff is very knowledgeable about the craft and in the end, I got a museum quality framing that really elevated the panel. The end product is really something to behold.

I am a painter and I have been getting my paintings and all other artworks framed at GEMST since 1990. I've had over 60 pieces framed at GEMST. When I bring my paintings to GEMST I know that each canvas will be handled with minute care. The craftsmanship of the framers is exemplary. Regarding the choice of frames, the staff who attend you in this process have a sure eye, always provide excellent guidance and are the kindest and most patient people you will encounter. I highly recommend GEMST.

Went it to purchase a frame. I biked to the store and wanted to go in and leave my bike next tot the door. An EXTREMELY rude person told me to leave my bike outside and that I was not allowed in without a mask. I’m not a confrontational person at all and would have been glad to leave the bike outside and even wear a mask (although there are no more requirements for mask! What else do I need to wear?) this is my second experience with the store. I have to say that the first time a year ago the same person gave me attitude but I let this go. This time he almost slammed the door in my face!!

Friends recommended Gemst to us and now we recommend it to others. The service was friendly, efficient and professional. The lovely gentleman took the time to listen to what we were wanting, offer many suggestions and guide us to the perfect frame. When we picked it up just one week later, we were delighted. The result is amazing. The original 50's poster is now on the wall of our apartment and we're thrilled. We will definitely go back whenever we want anything framed. Thank you.

I had the worst experience in this place today. Have never written a review before I went with a poster to be framed. He Told me poster was damaged. I agreed and asked him if I could take pics so I could order new one. He wouldn’t allow me to do that. I was using my own frame which he didn’t approve by telling me they don’t make them like this anymore. I asked him to lend me a marker he said this was not a supply store. He was rude unfriendly and would have rather sold his own frame. I should have gone to my regulate framing store. I’ve been in retail for many years. I have never treated a customer in this manner.
