Second time my wife and I have been to Pender Island, second time we've come to Syrens for dinner. Delicious meals both times. Poke Nachos are genuinely one of the best things I've ever had at a restaurant.Service was great. Very friendly servers and staff in general.Views are obviously amazing.Minor gripe - my seafood pasta could have used some more salt.Will be coming back to Pender next year and will be going to Syrens again, I'm sure.

One of our best meals! Reviews must be from Covid because our meal was incredible and all 5 ordered different things. Server was stellar, delicious food , great cocktails and a beautiful view!

Nice view but Disappointing tastes, lamb burger is very dry, honey garlic is over fried, fish and chip is very average... it is very convenient if you stay in Poets Cove Hotel so don’t have high expectations

Celebrated my daughters university graduation by taking her to Poets Cove . Wanted to treat her to a special dinner and was not disappointed ! She had the steak and I had the fish tacos both were delicious . Shout out to our server ,Filipe, who created amazing cocktails for us and made our evening out even more special by making us feel so welcome ! We will be back .

The Poke Nachos were amazing! So was the lychee cocktail. Good Caesar salad. Caesar drink was extremely spicy.It’s inside an amazing resort. Worth a stay and a visit.

We went here twice on our first day at Poets Cove. Service is excellent and the food was good. We had wings and a chicken Caesar salad. Chicken was juicy, not dry and flavourful. Hotels and restaurants are short staffed and taken a big hit during Covid. Be kind.

The clam chowder was grey, I found no clams at all, there were a few pieces of bacon, lots of potatoes half of which were undercooked at best. The sauce was very thin. So disappointed. I know my chowder. I told the waiter and he laughed that a woman earlier said it was the best ever.

Came here on a quiet Saturday afternoon with the girlfriend, 3 tables total including ours. Ordered the Poke Nachos, but was given the Poets Nachos, very similar sounding names, server probably heard us wrong. We waited 20 minutes for the food, we were hungry, and we didn't want to cause trouble for the server and waste food, it was only a $2 difference, so we kept the wrong Nachos. Taste was okay, but it was way too much for two people. Cheese was only on the top and solidified all the tortilla chips into one large mass. It was very difficult to break apart and eat. We ended up eating only 1/3 and took the rest to go. Girlfriend also had a red wine cocktail which tasted odd.Service was slow, and server could have given us a warning about the size of the dish, or confirm our order at the very least. She walked away fairly quickly after we paid, not even a thanks.We regretted traveling from the other end of the island for this meal. Trust the low review ratings. There are far better options on North Pender.

Admittedly we were skeptical about some of the low ratings, but we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. We were there February 27 for breakfast. I had the breakfast bowl with the ahi tuna, something I wouldn’t normally order; in short it was fantastic. All fresh ingredients, very tasty; there was lots going on with all those ingredients that just worked well together. My wife had the west coast benny. Outstanding! Great flavors; amount of hollandaise sauce was perfect. Coffee was terrific, too. And it came quickly. The waitress, whose name escapes me, was very friendly and very funny. Great setting to boot.
