It's not cheap but it's a lot of fun for kids!It's fun building the bear you want. You choose colors, accessories, clothes etc!

I went to build a bear for the first time at Masonville mall today.I needed one for my wife and one for my niece and nephews. I wanted to have a recording of my brother who passed placed in the one for my niece and nephews and one of myself for my wife. I have anxiety in larger places and especially when I’m by myself. My brothers recording was quick and easy as it was off of my phone. Mine I had to record while speaking and I couldn’t seem to get it right. Rose was the employee there helping me and I kept telling her to let other go ahead of me as I hate holding people up, makes my anxiety 100 times worse! She was THE BEST! She knew what was going on and she had all the patience in the world for me! When I finally got my recording done, she quickly had it go onto the recorder so it wouldn’t play loudly on the computer as it had before and overwhelmed me! Rose could have easily lost her patients with me because of the time and tries I took, but she didn’t! I want to thank you for hiring such an incredible person! And Rose, if you see this…keep being you and thank you so much for everything! I may just become a stuffed bear collector now!

A wonderfully heartwarming experience at Build A Bear Masonville. Jaclyn was truly wonderful. I was looking for a grade 8 grad gift. She asked me about the graduate and honed in on what would be the perfect choice. She told me Build a Bear stuffies are a great gift for teens on milestone moments. I picked out a bright green frog with her help. Jaclyn’s guidance and happy attitude was infectious The frog was a huge hit. Thank you so much for everything.

I really like Build-A-Bear, and I remember they use to have a spot that is bigger beside Coles bookstore before they move into the island of the hallway close to Shoppers Drug Mart. Most people will go for the Pokémon figures mainly the Eevee Evolutions, and the staffs knows their task and what kind of softness you want for your bear. I would like to have a Paddington bear; if they somehow get a license for it in the future, nor any unique ones. They do have license for Super Mario, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Animal Crossing and certain ones. You can custom your bear as well having a voice and adding clothing including other accessories. If I do come back here again; when I am visiting to Masonville. I will get an Animal Crossing bear. So far, I like coming here and I will buy another bear to sleep beside. Friendly staffs and they are helpful. Will come back again with some more bears to bring home with me. Thank you!

Had my granddaughters 3rd birthday party here. Thought it was going to be in a workshop. Instead it was in the middle of the mall with people passing through the group of kids. Yes the staff was friendly and the kids seem to be having fun but it's kind of hard to watch your kids and personal things and be aware of strangers not caring there is a party going on. For the price I paid for the day, I'd rather have a party at home.

For the past two years, I have made the trip with my son to build his birthday bear. This year, was a little different as my 2 year old was more interactive and curious as to what was going on. We had a WONDEFUL experience with Sean. I don't normally praise customer service, but he was the kindest sales associate I have ever dealt with. Thank you for such a positive experience!

This store is amazing it has fun bears,fun add one though clothes are a bit pricey
