Brampton Concert Band

Recently saw Christmas concert at the Rose. MC was funny.Band talented but seemed bored & stiff. Music selections ok for 1st half but need more popular in last half as concert seemed to go downhill. Glen Miller band was much more energetic, even some church concerts.

Brampton Concert Band Celebrates Canada 150I was very disappointed in the concert in that the program said that The Pipes and Drums of the Lorne Scots" were part of the program. In fact it was a very small contingent playing with only one side drum. The group was tucked away in a corner where they could only just be seen by patrons in the right side. Having seen the Lorne Scots many times with their proud traditional pomp and circumstance being as much a part of the show as their music I am surprised that they allowed themselves to be crowded into a corner like that. The Marquess of Lorne must be turning in his grave."
