Skillets Family Restaurant
First time here and I'm glad I stopped in. I ordered from the menu and the food was great. Very tasty and reasonably priced with generous portions. Gluten free toast also is available. The atmosphere is clean and well lit and the service also was prompt and friendly. Highly recommend and definitely will eat here again next time I'm in the area!

The food is great. ALL YOU CAN EAT. Inexpensive. The staff is super friendly. It's very clean. The atmosphere is homey. The food is home cooked. The potato pancakes are the best with sour cream. People come from far and wide for them. It's worth it. It is located just on the east outskirts of London on Dundas Hwy 2, near Trail's End. This is a must try. It's great to hot them both up on a weekend morning

Skillets is the new Trissas, which was one of my favourite restaurants. It is SO sad to see what it has become. Three times we have experienced awful service by the older gentleman who works there. We were met with rude and condescending comments, and I’ve never walked out of a restaurant feeling like someone thinks I’m small and stupid. Which neither I or my other guest are. When we asked to change the tip option, we were met with hostility and the debit machine was thrown back at us to pay. Also not to mention we were the only customers in there for over an hour and we’re not checked on once.The rest of the staff are pretty friendly and have not had a bad experience with them. But if you go and sit down with the gentleman we encountered… I’d suggest getting up real quickly and picking somewhere else to eat.Food is okay, skillets truly are above the rest of the menu, I’d go for them.

Came here for the first time today. Food was good. Reasonable price. Staff are friendly. Clean place. Even my dog was happy he got a sausage. Love this place. Forgot to take photos though to post.

I had the $17.99 “all you can eat” breakfast buffet at skillets this morning. It was absolutely terrible food and service. They wouldn’t even offer us a menu as they claimed to be short on staff and food. That was probably a red flag warning to leave right away. My brother, dad and I were hungry so we just wanted to eat. This buffet had luke warm foods on it ranging from eggs(tasted as if they came out of a pre mixed carton or worse) bacon, sausage (that I personally saw them putting into a French fries basket to cook in the deep fryer) is this even sanitary? Pancakes, French toast and some fresh fruit in a bowl. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. McDonald’s down the road serves a cheaper and friendlier breakfast. The staff were rude and disrespectful towards me and to top off the manager claimed to not be the manager and went into the kitchen to only come back and tell me he wouldn’t be able to come out and speak to me. Who is allowing this restaurant to remain open? Do not waste your time or money going to this place. I also don’t even want to give this even half a star review but you have to give it a star in order to review.

Came in for the first time. Was greeted right away. The restaurant is very spacious, but may need an update to the decor (used to be a family diner). Our server Barry was very hospitable (he reminded me of an old school bartender), but he seemed a bit serious; no smile.There was a buffet available (open from 9-2pm on weekends), so I went with that.The options include: hash browns, pancakes, potato pancakes w/bacon +cheese, hot apple crisp, sausages, eggs, french toast, bacon, fruit, cookies, and a few other options.The food was very delicious, and for the price point of $17.99, was well worth it.It would be great if the restaurant was open for dinner, especially a dinner buffet, but for now this is one of the best breakfast restaurants in town.Would highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast lovers.

Skillets Family Restaurant
Great breakfast buffet! Was greated at the door by (assumingly) the owner, all food stuffs were hot and well crafted. Waitresses were attentive, and kept our coffee fresh. Overall a great breakfast spot.
