Great supply of new products but for us most of the time nothing we're looking for. But we still go there so now and then for that one treasure we're looking for.

best place to go visit regularly. sometimes you find your desired things at very cheap price. Also this is great service to humanity.

Comically high prices for furniture, but always helpful small finds like switch plate covers and unique lighting parts. I'm grateful we have this store - but I'd hope for more reasonable pricing on some home and decor pieces.

Like some other reviewers, I miss the way the store used to be a few years ago. I agree that it is dark, everything is low or on the ground- they got rid of most of the shelving which seems to mean that there’s way less stock on display - especially paints, and hardware. It seemed to be way better lit before, there used to be way more stuff on display and the prices were more like a thrift shop price rather than a consignment or antique shop price. I find it frustrating also that items like tile and other flooring don’t have the price on display. On separate visits I got completely different price quotes on the same item that was still there on subsequent visits. There also seems to be not a lot of donations coming in and not a lot selling so the rotation of items is minimal. I could go in weeks later and it’s still mostly the same stuff there. Also lots of the light fixtures are in big boxes with no pictures so you have to unstack the boxes and take everything out to have any idea what it looks like. Lastly there always seems to be someone in the back area slamming and throwing things super loudly or there’s an alarm going off that everyone is just ignoring. I get that it’s a warehouse and it echoes but it never used to be like that before. I don’t know if it changed ownership or what… I feel it’s an important place to support and hope for its success and for it to stay open but it just seems like someone has given up on it.

I brought light fixtures to donate and because the store was overstocked with lighting they wouldn’t accept them. This is not the first time that this has happened to me. Ten years ago you could find retro and great used/new items at a reasonable price. The store doesn’t have the same unique character anymore. I noticed that the Loraas bin behind the store is full. So donated items are likely just being dumped. Every time I go in to the store I find prices to be severely inflated. Many items are donated by Home Depot and when you compare prices, the Restore is trying to sell the Home Depots donated items at close to retail price, with no warranty and no returns. I understand that the Restores are supposed to sell items donated by commercial businesses at 60% less than commercial/retail prices. That policy does not seem to be followed in Saskatoon. I will not be donating or purchasing from the Restore in the future and would suggest that others also boycott the Restore. If you want to feel charitable, put your items for free on Marketplace or donate them to real charities. The purpose of Habitat for Humanity is great but it is important that the ReStore fairly and respectfully serves donors and customers.

Very disappointed with this store. Dark interior, high prices, not helpful staff.

Very overpriced in comparison with other Habitat stores (Winnipeg, Thunder Bay) and it shows. Typically, folks are jostling to get a look at what they’ve discovered; not a problem at this outlet! It’s a ghost town. For example, an old, tired, dirty and stained beige couch that has turned dark brown/black in the high contact areas is priced at $100. I would not take this couch home if it was left outside on the curb. $100 may be reasonable if it had been cleaned.

I just bought glass tile that would have been $30.00/tile in store at Restore for $3.00/tile. Amazing tile and amazing price!! Thank you to the volunteer who helped me he was very friendly and patient.
