Gotta Dance

Our daughter loved kinder dance! It was her first activity with an instructor and Miss Emily was a great instructor to introduce her to the world of dance. She was 3 years old and it was absolutely wonderful.

An excellent studio; very professional and caring staff and owners who always put the students and their needs first. A perfect spot for fun and learning. If you're searching for a studio for your child, look no further!

My daughter has danced at a few studios in the west end and GDI is our favourite because of the positive, supportive environment and strong sense of community. My daughter has formed close friendships with teammates in her age group, as well as with some of the teen dancers. She loves her teachers! Although some studios are thought to be more ‘strict’ and students can sometimes feel torn down by harsh corrections, this has not been our experience at GDI. My daughter comes home happy, chatty and energized after hours of training. Most importantly, she feels like she can be herself and that she is part of a second family at the studio.

I’ve been teaching breakdancing at Gotta Dance for just over a year now, and its programs really are top notch. Skill wise and confidence wise, your kids will be getting the most out of their time here. The other teachers are also fantastic at what they do.

Building has three studios of different sizes and has parking in the back of the building shared with the public Library. The studios are of decent condition and the floor is pretty even. Nice cozy place for renting dance space. There are two washrooms and a drink vending machine.

Amazing facility and location! I love that there is a dance school in the west end that regularly has pop up classes and workshops that I can attend without having to go downtown.

The studio is run by the most incredible staff and owners. You can tell the leadership is at the highest quality, the owners take the time to reach out to the best teachers and really create the ideal space to nurture learning,fun and growth within their studio. The leadership trickles down to ever member of that space and positively affects the students, parents and visitors alike. I'd strongly recommend anyone and everyone who would like their kids to be in a comfortable and encouraging environment that allows them to explore their artistic interests or even just connect with other kids their age and feel safe and in a comfortable, nurturing environment to do so. 5 stars!!!
