Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill
We arrived at 5 pm on Wednesday night for their Rib special and they were out of ribs. Very disappointing! Asked if they were substituting for something else and the answer was no". Waitress was not friendly or happy and she never smiled. She needs to learn customer service skills as that's a very important part of a customers experience. When she went to collect our dishes

This is a large establishment, lots of room and good service, however the food is nothing to write about unfortunately. Firstly it took forever to come out. For a place not that busy I don't know why it would take so long.I had the Buffalo chicken burger (it's not what I would consider buffalo) the patty was dry (even with the sauce on it). The ranch that was served with it was delicious tho. Good for fry dipping. The barbeque sauce wasn't my thing.The bacon cheddar burger was described as tasteless. But the prices are good. Mind you I would pay more if it was better food!

There were 4 meals ordered. 2 bacon cheeseburgers, a T-bone steak, and a Buffalo chicken sandwich. The steak was hard to cut and harder to chew. The fries were like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time and were still cold. The burgers were dry and flavourless. The Buffalo chicken was alright"The place was super busy

Went for a quick bit to eat and drink. Took my drink order. Forgot. 20 minutes later comes back to ask again. Bartender/ waitress stood and talked to the same table for 10+ minutes over and over instead of serving other customers. Out of the 69 minutes I was there, she stood around talking for 60. I did not get the food that I wanted and left. I wasn't the only person that was unhappy with the service.

Let me say that we have never had a poor experience with our visits to Chucks but this visit was absolutely terrible and a complete disappointment. Following being seated we waited 20 minutes before I had to ask who our server was and it was another 5-10 minutes before another server (not assigned one to us) came to take our drink order and upon returning with our drinks the same waitress seemed annoyed that the assigned server hadn’t come to assist us and took our food order, so she took it. We waited another 30 minutes for food and then I had to go ask what the delay was from someone who I thought was a manager only to be met with a raised voice about my enquiry. We finally got food just after the one hour mark and didn’t even get the proper order initially, and had to send a portion away because it wasn’t ours. We weren’t offered refills although we now had been there an hour + waiting. No one offered an apology or a discount for the poor service. We will never darken the door of this restaurant again. Based on the number of poor reviews it doesn’t seem to matter what people say because the same problems keep re occurring . We weren’t the only ones having the same experience this visit and I have attached a picture of my receipt so that you can do your investigation.

It's a typical road house & while the food is ok and a reasonable selection of beers, there's nothing special. On the other hand, our server was excellent and while TV sports were visible from every seat in the place, they were gratefully not blasting the soundtrack so we could hear our dinner companions. If you are passing through and looking to get some grub it's convenient to the main highway but it isn't what I would call a destination.

Great tasting food selections and staff are friendly and courteous. Steve the GM does an excellent job. Its our go to spot. Today's lunch was over the top. This Chucks have excellent staff that are friendly and courteous. The restaurant is clean and tidy inside and out. In season there is an excellent outdoor patio.

Horrible service. Arrived just after 5 pm by 640 our food had still not been brought to our table. 3 other tables that arrived anywhere from 30 minutes to 40 minutes after we were sat were brought their food. I’m certain the server forgot to put our order through then blamed the kitchen that they were being slow. Charged 33.49$ for 2 pops a chocolate milk, a beer and nachos. Didn’t comp anything. Not once did the sever come to the table to offer any explanation as to why the wait was so long. Incredibly rude when I finally asked to just pay the bill and leave. Ridiculous

The food was reasonable and the manager was super. The waitress was very average and made no effort to engage with us or update us why it was taking so long for a simple food order to arrive (>45 minutes). The default tip started at 18% and she did not get it.
