Halson Decor Paint & Paper

I spoke to Carrie on Monday morning and placed a $600 paint order. I was originally told the order would be ready in an hour. Later I received a phone call that the ceiling paint had to be ordered and would be in the following day. I was told I would get a phone call when my order was ready to be picked up. That evening all non essential businesses were ordered to close by midnight Tuesday. So at 7:30am Tuesday I tried to call the store to make sure my order would be ready. No one answered the phone and mailbox was too full to leave a message. I tried to call every 10 minutes for 6 hours. Finally at 2:19 Carrie called me to tell me they would prepare my order if I still wanted it but needed to know ASAP as they were closing at 3. Well once again, every 10 minutes, no one answered the phone. I understand the world is a crazy place right now but the way this was handled is absolutely unacceptable. They have now lost my business and I will make sure everyone I know learns about my experience. Poor, poor customer service

I love this store. We go here all the time. Staff is super friendly and always takes the time to help out and offer advice. As a contractor we deal with a lot of different paint stores and Meagan and her team have always gone above and beyond to provide us with amazing customer service. If asked, I will recommend these guys every time.

I came into this store and placed an order for a client back at the beginning of May. I was told it was in stock and shipping time to their location would be no more than 10 days and I would receive a phone call. Approximately 2 weeks later, I still had not received a notice of communication or any other form to indicate that the order had arrived. I called to inquire and it took the individual on the phone about 10 minutes to find out about my order, and then told me it would be on back order for another 4 -6 weeks. Obviously agitated as this was not ideal for my client who was also impatient at this juncture, however there was a deposit placed, so there was no choice but to wait. At the 6 week mark after this (beginning of July), I once again did not receive any form of communication. I called back and after a few minutes the lady indicated it still has not arrived but she would inquire as to when (the first actual indicator that someone was trying to be helpful) and got back onto the phone after a brief hold and said another 2-3 weeks. I finally picked it up this morning, and said this was completely unacceptable as the wait should have never occurred. The girl at the front just shrugged and literally said nothing. I should have just taken the order and given an invoice to the girl for delays in chargeable time as you normally would in project management. This place is anything but professional and should never be used by anyone looking to start a decor project.

I ordered very expensive MaxMarr blinds with Halson Decor. I pulled them out of the packaging and one of them had a break with the cord that needed replaced. I was told I needed to figure this out myself and was directed to the MaxMarr costumer service. They told me I needed to contact the installer. Well, Halson had me find my own installer - my handyman - and for months have been saying that they would contact me and get back to me with updates. They finally ordered the product to fix this issue, and surprise a month later I am still waiting for a phone call from them.I just called the store and was told an array of excuses but that someone would be in touch with me shortly. I'm sure it'll be another month until I contact them again.I do NOT recommend spending your money here. Their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced.
