Fun store to browse but it's extremely dim lighiting. The staff is usually helpful but after an uncomfortable encounter with a (new?) staff member going to downgrade. Note to store, don't eyeball people weirdly when they reserve online because they don't want drive across the city for no reason if the online inventory is inaccurate - just smile, ask for ID and don't be creepy.

Was harassed by employee at the Pickering town center location and completely rude customer service

My friend and I went in this afternoon and experienced very rude mannerisms from the younger black woman working behind the counter. She was busy socializing with her coworker and my friend was trying to lean in and see a Funko on the counter behind the cash and she lashed out at him basically yelling by no means or circumstances can you be near the cash". Very rude and not helpful. And she continued with her attitude after this incident

Visited this store today since I was in the mall, looking for a (somewhat obscure) used switch game and to my surprise they had one (out of box) in stock! The store rep Stephen was a pleasure to deal with. A+ service from him

After I entered, I noticed that the staff was too busy and far from the counter and was not working. They were busy socializing with each other instead of helping customers, and I leaned towards the counter to see a Funko pop. Thats when a young black woman rudly yelled at me who works there said that I'm not supposed to be behind the counter under any cercumstances and began to rudly lecture me I'm an adult and I've worked in retail and I know that there's a lot of better ways to handle the situation. I feel like there should have been better traing done for the workers to know how to properly handle these situations.

My kid's favorite store, we have been in the ajax, whitby, oshawa, and pickering Store, and the staff in all of them is incredibly nice they really enjoy their job and it shows in the way they treat their customers, they know their products and give good recommendations, excellent service, we love going there.

Visited the location inside the mall today and was treated extremely poorly by an employee named ANDY. When I first walked in he seemed very happy but was immediately fed up after I asked about my preorder. I then remembered I had another product ordered to this store to which Andy tried to tell me it had been cancelled, then the manager informed me she did see it, thank god for this manager. After I had fully paid ANDY began to throw a temper tantrum when I told him I’m not giving him my drivers license in his hand but I would show it to him instead, he threatened to not give me my paid for preorder, thankfully the wonderful manager there intervened and informed ANDY that my drivers license was not required however ANDY said “I want to have the drivers license specifically for this customer” seems targeted, but whatever that means. I tried to finish this interaction by saying thank you, have a nice day. To which he blankly stared at me and almost threw my very expensive game consoles on the ground, I would not recommend anybody come to this location as I have been coming in since I was 9 years old and this is how I am treated. 0 stars for Andy, 5 for the rest of the store and staff.

Anyone who pre orders funko pops or decides to inquire about funko pops at the Pickering town centre please avoid as the employees at the mall location lie and take the funko pops for themselves or hoard it for their friends outside of work.Had an experience when I called the day before wintercon and asked if they will be receiving it and the lady said they did not receive any shipment on the wintercon funko pops but next day to my surprise I was told they got it. Pretty pathetic that an employee had to lie to a customer like that.Then another experience was when I pre order a funko pop that had a 1 out of 6 chase variant months prior but upon picking up my pre order they brought out the box and there was only 5 out of the 6 that were there and the box fully said “1 out of 6 chase” and when I asked the employee if they got this other employee said NO in a rude aggressive way. Then the older guy made up an excuse saying they didn’t get a chase which I find hilarious Considering how bad they are at lying towards customers.Kinda surprised higher management hasn’t investigated the Pickering town centre mall location as these employees they hire are beyond pathetic for doing illegal stuff like this jeopardizing their job over an exclusive collectible. Avoid pre ordering or even inquiring about funko pops or just contact head office cause no employee is truthful at the mall location.

Great store! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Looking for Pokemon stuff for my son they did great job helping me.

10/10 staff. Always looking out for the customers. If only the company appreciated them.
