Lavender Creek Trail

Great trail that I take to go to stockyards. Well maintained and safe

Good for biking. Half in the forest and half in residential area. Can see bunnies and other small wildlife. Very hilly!

It's not really lavender trail, it's Gaffney Park I was still in. The actual trail is below us and it's a short and quite trail.

Beautiful trail with small play area & resting spots on the ends of this trail.

I took a hike down Lavender Creek trail and found it to be a little remote for my liking. There were not many people down this trail and although it was paved, the trail was more of a bike path than a hiking trail. - A Richard Trus review

Good trail with some paved portions. Very walkable. Low traffic so it is good for less social dogs. Beautiful walking space that feels like it isn't in Toronto.

This is an interesting slice of industrial Toronto, a hydro right of way squeezed between meat packers, truck depots and scrap yards. If you are looking for somewhere sweet smelling, this is not it. Part of the not so pretty but necessary underbelly of Toronto.

This is a GREAT little trail in my neighbourhood. It's not very long - just a couple of blocks - but very nice to walk. The path is about 10 feet wide and fully paved. Trees line both sides of the path so on a hot day it feels cooler on the path. There are some benches and a chess table at the west end and a bench and a children's playground half way down. During the last storm, a lot of trees were knocked down but if you didn't know the trail, you'd hardly notice. You can exit the trail at several spots in the middle. There are even a few street lamps if you're walking in the evening. The City is already surveying the downed trees to see if they have to be replaced.

Everytime I walk this path there is absolutely no one there, if you are feeling generous there is someone living at the creek, he or she could probably use a cooked meal.

Ran into a coyote here during the middle of the day, so be careful with children and small pets... overall better trails in Toronto to take.
