The Captain's Boil
I got a pound of crayfish and it tasted horrible. I understand that the meat is protected by their shells therefore doesn’t have enough flavour, but the flavourless meat made the quality of the crayfish standout even more. The meat was not bouncy nor sweet as expected. Instead, it tasted like it’s been frozen for a long time because the meat was soggy and left a bad taste in my mouth. The shells were soft and easy to peel, however, that’s not a good sign as it indicates that these crayfish are nothing related to fresh. I don’t think the shells have been cleaned either as shown in the picture. If you are craving to have crayfish, I suggest either going once the issue is fixed or just eat somewhere else for your own sake. DO NOT waste your money on this flabby meat.

Captain’s Boil is such a great place to satisfy my cravings for seafoods. We ordered the Pirates Feast off the menu, and it was more than enough for five people.Delicious sauce and fresh seafoods, however, I would personally recommend to get something from the menu without the sauce to cleanse your palate as it get too salty very quickly. Otherwise, love the food and reasonable prices.

Got this box from ubereats. It had rice, 2 mussels, crawfish, clams, and fried fish with the captains boil sauce/seasoning. Not too bad but it's not to die for.

The Captain's Boil
My son and I went there last night before a concert for dinner. Was not offered a drink. Gave us water in paper coke cups. Were supplied with paper plates, plastic bags, plastic cutlery, plastic bibs and gloves. Each got a sizzler plate. My rice was burnt to the bottom of the plate and tasted old. The crawfish was also really bad. Small portions and very expensive. It was a fun dining experience with the bibs and gloves but we wont be returning.

Seafood was not fresh, especially the crayfish! Lacking flavour for the garlic flavour, and extremely greasy seafood fried rice. Not again!

presentation can be better. They serve food in a plastic bag, cheap cutlery, water in a plastic cups. I mean for the price you pay you should get a better table" dine in experience. I've seen similar venues in other cities outside Canada where they pour the food on a big plate/bowl rather hand it in a plastic bag as if you are in a shelter."

It's a lot of fun to go here with a group of hungry friends and get primal with a feast. It's a bit expensive but good quality seafood, just a bit salty with all the sauces. I'd say avoid the plated rice dishes etc and just go for the bagged seafood

The Captain's Boil
First time coming to this location. It’s a little smaller than the location in Etobicoke. The food was good but I feel like the crab did not have much sauce at all, which does make a difference. We ordered the snow crabs, the mussels, the seafood fried rice with Captain’s Boil sauce and the chicken wings. Wish I would have seen the deal for $99 because we spent just over $100 not including tip and the deal offered twice as much food, that was frustrating because I asked if they had deals and the young lady seating us said there were no deals.

The Captain's Boil
I come here at least twice every month and the food never disappoints. The pirate’s feast is always a good idea with plenty of assortment. Surprisingly, they almost never have sangria and only have beer/wine/soft drinks. Also there really not much difference between the Fire & Volcano heat level.Very good seafood experience and I definitely recommend.
