Being a drywall contractor for 20 years, i've been around a lot of builders. For the past while my company has been working closely with Christopher and his projects. From start to finish they run very smooth. You can tell that Christopher takes his time in what he does and wants the best quality for every job big or small. He isn't just the owner/ builder he is also hands on if something needs to be done. He puts on the tool belt and gets it done. I gotta say from a contractors point of view he runs a tight ship and every trade that works for him he treats like family. working with lots of builders over the years I can say hands down Alair Homes is by far the best out there. Some builders try to cut some corners here and there to save a bit of money to fill their pockets but with Alair they want everything done to perfection and that is what i like cause I hate being asked to cut corners I believe a homeowner should get what they are paying for. Christopher and his team completed 2 major renovations on our home in that last couple of years. The first phase was an interior renovation that includes a complete redo of two bathrooms, custom office design and all exterior windows and doors. This transformed our old early 80's home into a stunning modern open concept timeless design.The second stage consisted of Christiopher designing our outdoor recreation space as well as our downstairs guest bathroom, and fireplace feature wall. Our brand-new spacious wrap around deck allows us to enjoy our back yard, significantly extends our living space, and will allow us to entertain friends and family all year round.Christophers ability for helping us with our budget and bringing lots of cost saving ideas truly appreciated. I highly recommend Christopher and his team!

I worked with Christopher Stiles and Jeff Goulet on a full apartment remodel in False Creek. They completely exceeded my expectations and did beautiful work. I appreciated the way Christopher drove the initial scoping of the project, as well as the ongoing management through the Alair dashboards to make sure there were no surprises, and that everything was operating smoothly. Jeff did a fantastic job in managing the project, and driving much of the carpentry work himself. I found him to be flexible and transparent about cost, delays, issues, etc. and was impressed with his ability to keep things on track. He also built the fireplace mantle, kitchen shelves, and several other items himself, and did an outstanding job!Throughout the whole project things were managed in a transparent way through the Alair portal. This allowed me to keep track of expenses, and understand how things were going in terms of schedule. Jeff sent weekly updates summarizing everything as well which was appreciated. There were some small delays due to supply chain issues (covid related), but they were always sorted out as quickly and inexpensively as possible.I would gladly with with Christopher and Jeff again when the time comes, and I cannot recommend them strongly enough.Some before/after photos attached.

Chris and his team did an incredible job building our Fitness Studio space. On time and on budget, he was easy to work with and communicated clearly and efficiently. He did his best to help us manage costs as best possible.

I've worked with Chris as a subcontractor at Alair Homes over the last few years and found his connection and communication with his clients to exceed over most of other contractors I've worked with. Chris also has the eye for design making clients projects much more streamlined. Chris is also present for the clients and doesn't disappear leaving the client and sub contractors frustrated when questions and decisions need to be resolved. Recently, I had a 3 1/2 month renovation completed on my rancher which entailed moving out and removing all of my furniture, stripping out hardwood flooring, tiling and carpeting as well as decommissioning existing plumbing. The plan was to instal a new high tech radiant heating system, new hardwood and tiles throughout, new domestic hot water boiler, remodel of our existing en suite bathroom and fully upgrade all insulation.This was quite a daunting project which we had talked about for a couple of years and which created a lot of stress during the lead up to the start.Christopher Stiles and Alair Homes White Rock were recommended as project managers by the manufacturer of our planned new heating system and I’m delighted to say, Christopher exceeded all of our expectations. He prepared an extremely detailed budget along with a complete design review of all of our “wants and needs” and offered many useful suggestions along the way. One of which was a complete review of our en suite bathroom to accommodate “aging in place” details such as a wider entrance, walk in shower with easy clean glass and relocating the toilet as well as integral shower seat and several grab bars. His design ideas far exceeded mine every time.My wife and I felt at all times that Christopher was on our side whenever issues arose and was fully cognizant of our budget and schedule for completion. We received detailed updates every week and subsequently had very few surprises. I have no reservations in recommending Christopher and Alair Homes White Rock with any construction projects and I would certainly engage them again.
