Gutter Doctor

We haven't done our gutter properly for ages. They were leaking and giving us issues not only during the summer but creating ice on steps. Making all of my family fall down those steps at least once. We contacted Gutter Doctor Technician Jeff gave us a thorough free quote that made us want to deal with them for a great price. As soon as we said yes to the quote, Jeff was out here the next morning getting it done. Thank-you very much for helping us out. Will definitely call again.

Leroy and son were great at their job. They were steady, professional, very detailed and methodical at repairing my eaves trough. They checked it out thoroughly with the water hose and level making sure everything was up to snuff. I would highly recommend them.

The Gutter Doctor took 9 months to respond to our request for service. Then when Nazim showed up my wife had to help him. We had a steady drip from the corner of our garage gutter before Nazim came, and when we got our first rainfall we had a torrent running down from the gutter. When I got on my ladder to see what was going on, I found that Nazim had pushed all of the stuff in our gutter right over the downspout hole which at least contributed to the leak.Nazim didn’t even mention that there was debris in the gutter for us to remove. Very unprofessional.

Communication was good from the time I requested a quote, the price was reasonable, the estimator and crew were friendly and professional, and the installation is perfect. They were very realistic and transparent about spring scheduling challenges, but ended up completing the work well ahead of the initial target. Overall great experience!

Brian came and provided us with a quote for services last Fall. Yesterday (April 23) the weather was good so he came to complete the task. He was very thorough and competent. He provided advice on water management. As long as the leaks have been stopped (we'll see when the first rain comes), we will go down as exceptionally pleased with the service.

Peter from Gutter Doctor was super. He explained what could be done to repair the two leaks I have. So I had one downspout replaced and the gutter corner leak was repaired by installing a metal piece to make sure the water goes into the gutter. The work was completed in a couple of hours. Peter was friendly, professional and courteous. Also cleaned up after the job was completed. Now just need some rain to see if the repairs will work. I think it will. Initially, it took a little longer than the “usually within a week” timeline to get a quote for the work we wanted done, however once we received the quote and approved the work, it was done very quickly. I look forward to our first big rainfall to see how our newly cleaned and repaired gutters function as they have been leaking for a few years now; hoping to see them work as if they are brand new!

Never again. We called Gutter Doctor to repair a leaking endcap. When on site we identified a second end cap leaking. The technician said he can fix the issues, however, the gutters would need to be resloped, we would need a new flashing and drip edge and sealing and another downspout added. Some areas would also require cleaning. The total would be approximately $2,000.After completing all the recommended repairs, both endcaps continued to LEAK. When they came back to look at the issue, they indicated the problem was with the roof and not the gutter. So why did they say we needed $2,000 in gutter repairs if the problem was the roof? Did they miss this in the initial assessment?Value for money? The work was done by one technician in just over 6 hours, with very little new materials needed. With a bill of $2,000, that is quite an hourly rate.In the future, we will shop around and get more estimates, but we will never use Gutter Doctors again.Below are photos of the leaking end caps after Gutter Doctor's repairs and the large gap left on the end cap.
