Funny Bone Comedy Club & Restaurant

Don’t waste your money. Management is so terrible and unorganized, it made the show in unenjoyable. They brought us to the front because we bought our tickets early, then find out they sat someone else in our seats and ended up moving us all the way in the back. We didn’t mind since we didn’t have to share a table. Drinks and food took an hour and a half to come, mind you it took them 45 minutes to even take our order. The table next to us ordered after us and got their food before us. When the show was over, the waitress was nowhere to be found. We had to stay 20 mins after the show ended and the place was empty before our card was even taken. Would give this place a -2. Never going back, especially to big shows.

I was scammed by a ticket resale website that sold me fraudulent funny bone tickets. I had a feeling after a while that they may not be real, so we went to funny bone and had them scan them and sure enough they were invalid. Funny bone’s customer service was unlike any other, they are doing anything they can to help us get our money back and made sure that I can come back and see other shows as this show was going to be for my 21st birthday. The individuals that work here were so lovely and helpful and I can’t wait to see a show here soon.

I really enjoyed this comedy club. The place was very clean. My waitress was very attentive and she frequently checked on my table. My food was nice and hot when it came out. I do wish they would have had more of a barbecue flavor on their grilled barbecue chicken sandwich. The artichoke dip was good and light tasting. All of the comedians that night had very good acts and had me laughing most of the time. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

I have never had any issues at Funny Bone, whichever location I have visited. This was my first visit to the Syracuse NY location. Very clean, good service, every staff member very very courteous. Cocktails were well made. Highly recommend visiting this venue. We will definitely go again.

I love this venue and always enjoy the comics. The staff is friendly and thankfully gone are the days of pushing drink minimums, but buyer beware just the same We are regular attendees and one thing that really irks me is when they pad the bill. It's not every time, but I've caught it half the time. Gratuity is added at 18% which is fine, but I become incensed when the staff takes advantage of customers in the dark, not able to see the bill, or not paying attention because they're watching the show. I've seen a packed house with trusting patrons lining the tables with credit cards plunked down, and the waitresses grabbing them all in one fell swoop, not knowing they were overcharged. I always look at the bill, and three of six times, our drinks were up-charged from well, which is what was ordered, to top shelf at $4 more per drink, and a single soda at $4, being charged at $8 for bottomless. The venue makes extra for items not sold, and it also bumps the automatic 18% gratuity, thus the waitress giving herself a bigger tip for services not performed on items not delivered. Albeit, it's the responsibility of the patron to check their tab, yet imagine how challenging it would be for an entire room with hundreds of patrons trying to use a dim cell phone light to check their tab, all happening at once. At about 100 tables,(many doubled up with two checks), and a minimum extra of $8 on those checks, it equates to $1600 in padded charges with an additional $288 in gratuities added. I ordered a 2nd drink tonight and never got it, but the $12 charge was on the bill, along with bottomless soda instead of a single one. That's $16, plus tax, plus gratuity. It's unreasonable and dishonest. It's not everyone, though, so pay attention to your check and enjoy the show. I'll continue to see shows, but I'll always check my tab!

We had a blast. The drag show was hilarious.

We saw Matt Rife, Great show. We liked the venue, we had good seats. Table service is a bit slow but good. Check your bill, they add an 18% tip. I caught it before I left an additional 20%, I tip 20% so I just added the difference.

Very crowded. Since they were sold out we had to share table that was very small with another couple. The service was very slow although our wait staff was very friendly. The classic nachos were not classic. They contained barbecue sauce and fried onions on top and we're very dry because we ordered it without barbecue sauce. They did not offer anything in place. We had no idea how dry they would be. The dill pickles that were fried were amazing though.

Went for the first time a few weeks ago. Pretty straight forward. Very tight steaming and they usher you right to your seats. I definitely recommend getting a table with people you know otherwise it’s a bit awkward . Food is amazing and servers were great about being around to take care of peoples drinks and food needs. 10/10 recommend

The seating was perfect for the show that we saw. The food was good and hot. The drinks are fancy and reasonably priced. The show was great. They have some awesome headliners at Funny Bone. We had such a good time that we booked two more future shows!!
