She opened early for us, delicious breakfast. And was able to teach us about the history of the town. Truly amazing place to be.

A nice excuse to pull off the highway, enjoy small-town Canada, and eat at somewhere with a unique story. Staff was friendly and accessible. Salads and main courses were fresh and filling. We ordered some desserts to go" but they never made it to the car- too good! The patio was nice on a sunny day

So worth a stop! Everything we ate was delicious (meat pies, soup, bread and the BBQ Chicken Salad) and the set up of a table per room upstairs was unique. Got a few meat pies to go it was so tasty!

During an April snow storm, business took us into town, and little did we know, we would be having the best lunch of our lives. We had the chicken park melt on fresh baked white bread. The smell of fresh bread fills the cafe. The chicken was perfectly cooked. To top off the amazing lunch, we had to try the Cherry Cheesecake. It was, by far, the best cheesecake we have ever had. If you’re a local and haven’t tried this hidden gem, or a passerby, you have GOT to stop in at this family owned cafe for a for a lovely time!

Nice little cafe, with an interesting name. Based on a series of swaps a guy swapped a red paperclip for a house, which is now the cafe. Food was good, cheese cake was amazing. Probably the best cheese cake I have ever had. It is definitely worth a visit for that alone.

Billie and her staff always go the extra mile for their customers! Everything is fresh including the massive slices of homemade bread and always a variety of desserts. Great stop for coffee, a meal or catering as well. Make sure you ask about the paperclip trade. It’s quite the story!
