A Plus Tutorial

A Plus Tutorial was extremely helpful in helping me better understand all concepts required in a first year university calculus course. Overall, the tutoring sessions aided and allowed me to become more confident in my calculus abilities.

I went to A Plus Tutorial for a total of four years and I have learned a lot since then. The tutors there are extremely helpful and want their students to succeed in their courses in school. They also provide a variety of courses that you can enroll in to learn more. I highly recommend A Plus Tutorial since they are such a big help when I was in high school, and they made my schoolwork seem so easy.

MY son is 9 years old. He has become much better in oral and written Cantonese due to the attention of A Plus Tutorial teacher Ms.Haylie. My son has thrived in the private customized lessons, which challenge him to learn Chinese vocabulary that's interesting and applicable to his daily life. Because of Ms. Haylie's attention, my son has gained confidence in speaking Cantonese to his family, and the public. The money spent is well worth it!

My girls 8 and 4 have been doing Cantonese lessons for over 6months. it's a great program because it really caters to their individual needs and our family goals. We've switched thru a few teachers due to accomodating our schedule needs but they've been great. Our recent teacher comes up with great ideas every class to encourage my youngest to put in her best efforts to participate (given age and developement difference between her older sister). I definitely recommend A Plus tutorial!

Great school. My kid is learning Cantonese with tradition Chinese characters here. The teacher is knowledgeable, nice and helpful.

My daughter is five and I wanted her to learn Cantonese, and I came across A Plus on Facebook and thought to give it a try. She has zero knowledge in Chinese and the first lesson was really difficult for her. I spoke to A Plus and told them my worries and they were able to allocate my daughter in a more beginner level class. So far she has taken four classes and she knows how to count from one to ten and some colors in Cantonese. Although I don't think she knows how to write yet, but knowing how to say some vocab is already a breakthrough. I asked her if she wanted to go to Chinese school and she gave me a thumbs up. So I think she really enjoyed it too!

My kiddo comes here for Cantonese lessons - this is the only center kiddo doesn’t complain/ cry learning Chinese. Class size is small and style of teaching is not the strict kind (not those with tons of tests and homework, stern face teaching nothing like that). Teachers here are passionate in teaching and friendly, with regular updates to parents on what’s been covered in class as well as student’s progress. Highly recommend.

Ms.Syiu is very caring and kind teacher. With a lot of patience when teaching. I started in the Summer 2021, I was not a fast learner neither was I good at critical thinking. But a year has gone by and I have gotten faster at critical thinking and have a better understanding of the importance of math. 10/10 recommended. :D

Very knowledgeable and caring tutors that helped me greatly better understand Pre-Calculus 11 and 12 and Physics 11 and 12. They have very flexible schedules that can be suited to your personal needs. I highly recommend this tutor place for an affordable and high quality tutor service.
