Yes, there is an independent bookseller on Granville Island on Railspur Alley, open between 11 and 5 during the week and 10 and 5 at the weekend. The choice of books is excellent. There are newly published books and new editions of the classics. It is worth browsing through the shelves as there should be something for everyone.

Probably one of the best bookstores I’ve ever been to. They carry unique books that you wouldn’t necessarily come across in a Chapters/Indigo, as well as some popular titles. The atmosphere was great and there were tons of titles to browse. Left wanting to purchase all of the books, but settled on one. Will visit again.

Such an underrated store! They have handpicked some amazing and mindful books, along with small gift items like bath salts and candles. Really loved the vibe - would definitely love to pick up a few books next time! Very unique titles in their collection.

I’ve never heard of a bookstore that doesn’t offer exchanges or returns. For a place that qualifies itself as a gifting experience that was pretty shocking. Super basic selection of books as well. I’d prefer almost any other indie bookstore in Vancouver.

I really like this small, independent bookstore. A diverse selection of fiction and non-fiction, carefully curated, with friendly and knowledgeable owner/staff. Not pretentious or precious. A wonderful addition to GI.

Beautifully designed bookstore with lots of thought provoking titles. One thing I thought was really special was how they categorized their books — beyond a standardized system, each shelf is focused on a different topic with a really well-written blurb attached.

A must-visit spot on Granville Island for any lover of books. Often small stores like this one are filled with indie titles only a critic could love. But this store is a mix of obscure work and new books, with very easily browsable sections and table recommendations. There’s something peaceful about a store where you can feasibly peruse all of the shelves; large stores are environments ripe for decision paralysis. If you can find parking on the island, I’d add this to your Vancouver To Dos all on its own.

Beautifully curated bookstore at Granville Island! This loft unit is bright and airy. It is smaller than some of the other books shops on the island, but no less delightful. They offer various gift and home items too. I especially enjoy the humourous type-based greeting cards. Recommended to visit.

I bought a friend's book there as they had an online virtual launch for her. I ended up buying a few more poetry books. Reminds me of bookstores when I lived in New York. Tall bookcases and thoughtful presentation. Plus both owners (disclosure: friends of mine) are very knowledgeable and I enjoyed their recommendations.

Cozy little independent bookstore with an interesting selection of curated books and gifts. Not only are the staff friendly, but you can tell they're all book lovers themselves! I enjoy popping in to explore their new additions!
