I have purchased appliances for a complete kitchen, as well as a washer & dryer. Each time I make a purchase from Essex appliance, I leave happy and satisfied with the way they treat their customers. They are informative and knowledgeable and really put in the effort to get the best product for their specific customer’s wants & needs. They free delivery, set up and take away makes it a huge difference.

Recently purchased two washers. The sales staff were well informed and the service staff were prompt and helpful. Great experience all around

Our refrigerator died at 19 years of service. Andrew went out of his way to present us with all the refrigerators that fit into our kitchen cabinetry and were also in stock. That made our choice easy. Andrew then got us same day delivery and removal of our dead refrigerator. We are longtime customers and always made Essex Appliance Center our first stop.

Sadly, to write a review, you have to give at least 1 star to start. It should be minus 5 stars! The product was damaged when delivered, and the fridge had to be serviced immediately because of an issue not working. I called today for a part that we need, parts person had no interest in customer service , argued and overvalued me repeatedly with I was explaining the problem. Rudest customer service I have had in my entire life. She kept overtalking me and insisted my temperature numbers were on the oven control know and not a decal behind them as they are. She ludicrously kept insisting I don't have numbered decals and then just hung up the phone on me mumbling something rude. Buyer beware, read the reviews! It's definitely not worth the drive to Essex! No offer of a solution after spending $10k! Never will I shop there again, and I will circulate this review to save others from the unbelievably rude and non- existent customer service.OWNER RESPONDED PRIVATELY after I posted my review stating that I was wrong , there are no decals behind my oven control knobs, that the numbers are on the knobs. He heard my conversation and heard the parts lady cut me off before she knew what I was asking for. He kept repeatedly stating the numbers are on the knobs. If they are not willing to let someone finish a statement, they will certainly never know what a customer is asking for. There are decals behind the knobs to indicate power settings and temperature, these are directly over the gas cooking area and are constantly spattered with grease etc and need to be washed. Because these are DECALS, they eventually wash off. See a picture of what's left of our DECALS, and notice there are no numbers or power settings on the knobs as I was arrogantly told!! Too bad he and she didn't even bother to listen. This is reflected throughout all the reviews. See Decals on stove NOT on Knobs, You can't just gaslight customers and tell them lies and that they don't have decals.

Spoke with Derrick and told him what we were looking for.Derrick went above and beyond what we expected.He was very helpful and had great knowledge of the product that we were interested in.He set us up with a quote.We will be returning and purchasing our appliancesfor our new home.

I've been a fan of Essex for the last several purchases. Good prices and fast delivery. With that being said. We've bought the extra warrenty. We assumed and maybe used to be the case that the warrenty might be handled in house. Well that is not the case. You call the 800 number and then they disbatch to someone local. Well it takes about a week to get someone to your home just to look at it. Then, they have to order the parts. So, we've been without a fridge now for 1 week and the count continues. We're talking about a major kitchen appliance here. Not a toaster, not a stove, not a microwave but a fridge with temperature sensative items in it. :(

After a bad experience and being left in the lurch by a big box furniture store. Essex Appliance came to the rescue on a new washing machine. Everyone from the sales staff to the delivery team were extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. Special thanks to Frank who went out of his way to bring me a missing clamp and email me a owner/service manual. He was also super helpful and friendly the whole time. I will not be shopping anywhere else for my appliance needs moving forward.
