It was raining but the beginner trail was good enough and was manageable under light rain. My family and kids enjoyed the walk. Although, the $8 parking was a bit steep for just a little 1h walk, a bit pricey. I wish they offer some cheaper rate for some quick walk.

Don’t stay at the cabin l'érablière, and if you do, don’t go with more than 4 people. It says it can be up to 12 but don’t have running water and it is not close to any river. So that makes the experience very difficult. Also they don’t allow dogs but the place is really rustic, and many people pass by with dogs, so I didn’t get why they hate so much dogs at the point to make it a nonsense rule. They don’t even accept hypoallergenic. If you want a yellow Jackets experience go ahead!Besides that, the falls are beautiful, totally worth it.

The river Archambault is less than 100 meters away from the parking, and the view is beautiful. We didn't see anyone at the camping site by the river. There are a lot of picnic tables, and the chute is not far from the parking either. We took the trail circuit de l'orignal"

Beautiful hiking in the fall with so many georgus fungi.

The waterfall is clear to get to, but not physically easy. You need to be confident climbing up and down on steep and rocky slopes. It’s accessible for most people(I’ve seen children, dogs, older folks, etc), but just a warning it’s like… that middle ground of intermediate+ once you start the designated path towards it. When you think you’ve found the waterfall, keep walking. There’s a mini one and then a big one which is much better.

It is amazing place and so beautiful I advise everyone to go there and escape from the stress. I do not recommend famlies with little children to go down to the waterfall since there is alot of sharp stones and deep steeps.

Great place. The view is awesome and the river is beautiful. The hiking is great here and can satisfy anyone, since it has an easy circuit and plenty hard circuits.

The trail was harder than they said, but that’s not the worst thing. We spent an hour and a half on the « la tête blanche » just to realize the trail wasn’t going anywhere, there were trees blocking the road and nobody cared to remove them. The toilets are the most disgusting I have seen in this kind of facilities.

Awesome quite and peaceful place for hiking in nature. I really liked it and I’m going to come back for summer hiking and recommend it to my friends :)
