Lane's Landscaping

I'm not a landscaper and I'm female and I do work on my own. This is third time I have been dealing with this company and so far product, quality and delivery was great. This time I decided to order 3 yards of river stones. Quality product excellent but the way arrived I wasn't very happy. I took pictures and next day spoke to Mr. Nick. His words were this is unacceptable!". I didn't ask for anything and he voluntarily offered to me 2 yards of river stones on company cost with delivery. At that moment I was very impressed the way he handled. I felt that I'm not dealing with some" Micky Mouse" company and they are taking customers very serious and pride of there business. To make my story short

To all contractors save yourself the time and don’t bother with these guys. They refused to sell to me because they had not heard of the company I work for, I understand that we are in a Pandemic but coming from a business graduate these guys have no idea how to run a business and should take a basic course on what customer service is. Like I said skip these guys at all costs there are plenty of other landscape suppliers that take proper care of their customers and cater to their needs. I never take the time to write reviews but felt others should be warned before even attempting to give this place their business.

I’ve been going to these guys for almost 15 years. I’m now getting denied service even though I am a Contractor. The guy at the front gate says “yes I recognize you but they won’t sell to you”. I’ve been giving them about 35K worth of business each year but not anymore. I’ve made 3 trips here over the past month and each time they have denied me. COVID isn’t a reason for this - why are you guys servicing some Contractors and not others. Majority of the product I request is a stocked item. Will not be returning they do not take care of their Contractors. I just read your recent reviews and noticed I am not the only one. Bring the Old Man back - he knows how to run the business. The supply chain isn’t the issue as I went and picked up the exact products from your competitor nearby. The order took 1.5 weeks delivery but the delay is something everyone has to work with. But the flat out “no” to servicing regular Clients is extremely poor. Can’t wait to see what kind of excuse you have to answer with.

Best Yard in the GTAI own a landscape business and I have been everywhere in the city and Lanes is the best yard hands down. Anyone who says the customer service is bad doesn't have a clue about the industry or the products. Chad, Mike, Jeff, Nick and Dean-o are the best in the business and I get everything I can from them. They are friendly, reliable and always ready to help me out if I'm in a jam. The guys in the yard are great as well, very fast and knowledgeable. I wouldn't go anywhere else!Adam

This place is good , not the best and not bad , they have a lots of landscaping products, you can go and have a lot but do expect they will give you any opinions what to chose , you need to know what you want then ask for price and that’s it the staff not friendly, not helpful, or not friendly, just pick your product and pay then leave , I gave three stars for the products , if any star for staff I will give zero star , anyways I got my product and that’s it . Thanks

Our Corporation stopped using Lane's Landscaping in 2020. They loved our money in 2019. Last year with COVID, we were turned down even though we had an account. They claimed a shortage of materials. Mavis Garden Supplies across the street said the opposite. If you want real supplies, go to Toemar on Eglinton. Top notch service there for homeowners and businesses.Lane's Landscaping is a joke with terrible customer service. We hope that their lot gets bulldozed and a condo gets built there.

Good price on stone. They wouldn't take back the three pallets that the stone came on as I didn't keep the receipt which no one told me I needed to keep! I'm out $60 because of it. I told them to check my ID, but they told me they weren't computerized! Really!it's 2016...they're fairly inexpensive. No willing to work with you once they have you're money.
