Centennial Park

Centennial Park is a wonderful place to spend a few hours at. For families with children there are 2 play structures along with a standard swingset. The smaller of the two playstructures is located by the public washroom. The washroom's are kept quite clean! There are 3 baseball diamonds, and there is also a small basketball court which is in good condition. In terms of shaded / sitting areas there are two pavilions! The pavilion's also second as a gpod shelter if you get caught out in the rain. There's a long walking track which works great for taking pets for walks, or just getting some exercise. Lastly in terms of during the winter, the toboggan hill is plenty fun for kids. I highly recommend this park to everyone interested in spending time outside, especially to those families with active children!

I used to love taking my dog for walks here, especially in the winter time. It's such a beautiful park and a really nice place to relax when it's warm out or fun to play in the snowI stopped going for a few years after my dog passed but I love taking my dog now when I get the chance to, especially to go rolling down the hill with him (like the 7 year old at heart that I am) and him running after me, trying to catch me or stop meThis park has given me the most wonderful memories that I would never trade for anything in the world. It was one of my favourite places in the world - it was almost like my little get away, even for a few minutes. And I know it's been and will always be for others, as well
