I really like coming to this dog park, unfortunately some of the owners are not responsible enough to manage their dogs..It's unfortunate because I like many of the dogs and owners that come here. It's also just across the street from my house. Time and time again, some of the owners are just negligible.

I like how big this dog park is, I just wish there was no gravel and some trees for shade.Haven't had any bad dog experiences here yet!

[UPDATE] There was recent work done they've moved the benches and trash bins away from the center and closer to the fence so there's wider space. I think they changed the ground leveling instead of weird clamps if hilly mulch. Still mulch...It's fairly spacious. Double gated. No fountain option. Some dogs can run through the mulch but some can't or reluctant to because it can be prickly or is uneven depending on it being dry or wet.

Can get pretty muddy here after a rainy day, so be prepared for your dog to get dirty. They used to have two poop bag dispensers and two garbage cans at each side of the entrance, but the city got cheap and removed one. Also, lack of drinking water here. 3 stars for a convenient location, next to a popular walking trail, Coquitlam River, and close to many residents who have small and big dogs.

I love this dog park but the rocks are so sharp my high energy dog skids and slides and has cut her paw.

Really enjoy taking the dog here. Good community of people use this park. Never had an issue with anyone. Lots of room to tire out the dog.Don't wear anything open toed or you will be finding splinters in your shoes for days.

Decent sized dog park for dog owners nearby to bring their dogs to play. Padding is mostly mulch and gets quite wet and muddy after any rain so recommend wearing boots or shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Accessible by the Traboulay walking trail and Maple Street. Walking distance to both Gates Park and Coquitlam River Park. Plenty of eateries and cafes nearby.

Very generic dog park. 2 benches 1 trash can it has poop bags. It's 90% mulch 10% long grass. Lots of people walking by that bring their dogs to the park. Wasn't hear when it rained so cannot comment on puddles. No small dog area. Parking is street only no parking lot.

It was our first time to the park, and in fact my first time to any dog park. Is very clean and tidy, and they had a garbage bin at the end. They had one been for General garbage, and another been just for the dog poop. There's a couple of other dogs there and they all got along. Very basic, just an open space. The dogs seem to quite like it. They also had a holding area for coming into the park, and going back out to the sidewalk. A little holding pen, if you will. Very handy

It’s a decent size park unfortunately he gets quite muddy after the rain. Mostly busy just before dusk and around 830 to 10 in the morning. I like it because it’s a few blocks from my home and along all the gates park trails.*update: The city has added gravel and bark mulch to remedy the mud issue. It’s much better now. Would be great if they added a few logs or large rocks to add some variety.
