I had an accident in December near Thunder Bay and damage to headlight area and a month later started making a weird noise... other tried to find it but Chris had it diagnosed in an hour and ordered the motor mounts... they had it for a day and got it all done for me.Excellent team there for your mechanics need... I will continue to use Chris and his team to get you rolling again!!!KO

A really sketchy place with a shallow and sketchy manager. These people changed a part for me and and they didn’t know how to put it back so when I was driving it was making noise. I went back to their shop and they didn’t try to find the source of the noise and in the most sketchy and disrespectful way tried to get rid of me. I went to another mechanic and he found the source of the noise as soon as he heard it and closed the thing properly which these people didn’t know how to close! Stay away from this place!

I was very pleased with the work that was done on my newly purchased car. Chris was very friendly and explained everything in detail. I believe their actions warrant an investigation by your organization.My complaint concerns the following issues:Misrepresentation of Pricing: I contacted Active Green+Ross by phone to inquire about the cost of an car Safety Inspection. During the conversation, I was quoted a price of $59.99 for the inspection. However, when I arrived at the shop, I was charged $109.95 for the same service. This substantial price increase is unjust and misleading.Unnecessary and Costly Repairs: In addition to the inflated inspection fee, Active Green+Ross insisted that I make several unnecessary repairs to my vehicle, which amounted to $895.28 Despite being advised by someone else that these repairs were not required or could be done at a significantly lower cost, I proceeded with the changes at the shop. This exploitation of customer trust and financial burden is unacceptable.Contradictory Statements on Window Tint: During the inspection, Active Green+Ross informed me that the window tint in my vehicle, which was measured at 12%, would pass the inspection. However, after completing the repairs elsewhere, I later inquired about the inspection status, and they claimed that the tint was no longer acceptable, because I have changed the requested parts somewhere else du to fare pricing even some of them not necessary, but I did it just to get my safety because I am out of work. This inconsistent stance on the tint further highlights their lack of transparency and integrity.Failure to Provide Required Documentation: Despite being charged for the safety inspection, Active Green+Ross failed to provide me with the documentation certifying that my vehicle had passed the inspection. This omission is not only a violation of regulations but also causes inconvenience and potential legal complications.Disrespectful Treatment and Expulsion: The manager of Active Green+Ross exhibited highly unprofessional behaviour during my interactions with them. They spoke to me disrespectfully and, at one point, even asked me to leave the shop. I strongly believe that this behaviour is unacceptable and warrants investigation. First time I spoke with Chris, I was very impressed with the level of customer service extended. After that service we were hooked to 375I have been to several motor vehicle service centre before. Including other Active Gteen and Ross. This is the best! I was in real trouble when I had flat tire and needed a replacement ASAP and this was the closest tire specialist near to me at the time. The team at Active + Ross were very attentive and helpful. They explained to me my options and suggestions to how they could help me. I could tell that they were not interested in selling me their products, but instead were genuinely interested in trying to help me and my current situation. Their attentiveness and help gave me confidence with their solutions and made my dire situation a lot easier to deal with and helped with the rest of my day. I highly recommend this branch as they gave a second to none customer service and experience.

I went to the Active Green+Ross located just up the street (844 Dundas St. E) to do a general vehicle maintenance on it, to which they left my vehicles underbody plastic cover unfastened and dangling. I didn't notice the issue until a couple days later (see photo for details).The next day, I made a trip back to that same Active Green+Ross, to which they said they would charge me for the repair, even though it was their fault to begin with.I then took my van into this Active Green+Ross, explained the story to them, to which they installed and refastened the clips missing from my underbody plastic cover, free of charge, all within about 5 minutes.Keep in mind that every Active Green+Ross is privately owned, so they had absolutely every right to charge me for this issue, but they still did it for free, even though I offered to pay.Thank you Chris and the mechanic that fixed the issue caused by the other Active Green+Ross. I really appreciate your efforts of putting customer satisfaction over making a profit.Will definitely be returning to this Active Green+Ross for any maintenance work that has to be done on my vehicle.
