I am conflicted as to how I feel about my one appointment experience with KOPI.The wait time was 15 months. Long, but somewhat understandable given the state of our health care system. I would have preferred a bit more communication so I could wait a bit more patiently. The resident was fabulous. He took all of my information in great detail. He asked relevant questions regarding my medical issues. The doctor was friendly, but I do not think that he actually listened to what I was saying. He offered treatment options that are not relevant to my condition. It was as if he had a prepared script and my input was ignored.I am on the waitlist for surgery and I had hoped that KOPI would offer some relief while I wait. I suppose that I was expecting more options.

While the doctor has done phenomenal work, his assistant has made booking a properly timed follow up impossible. I attempted to update my phone number on multiple occasions, in person, by phone, voicemails and nearly three months later I'm still not hearing about my appointments. Minutes after my last procedure I walked up to reception to book an appointment and was refused the ability to do it in person and was told I would be contacted with an appointment. Over a dozen voicemails and three months later I was finally given an appointment, over a month past when my next procedure was supposed to be done. I'm not sure how it is fair for a pain clinic to let their patient suffer because of the doctors assistants" negligence of their duties."

I have come here for many years ever since a concussion where the hospital referred me here and they have helped me with numerous sports injuries, they’re great. I also go to physio near here. Thank you Alana and Dr. O’Connor! You’re both amazing.

So I’ve had what I’ve been told is a trapped nerve in either my shoulder or neck for about 5 years now, causes a lot of pain and discomfort when it gets going. Been to 4 physio clinics over the years with little success as to helping the pain. Went to see Dr. O’Connor with high hopes of possibly finding something to help only for him to not only not even examine me or feel around the area at all! But to just sit in the chair and say that I was lying and that the pain was all in my head, he told me that in 3 months I could come back for a freezing if I wanted after I waste away all my money at these physio places. I will never forget that. I’m writing this review 3 months afterward with those words still engrained in my head and the pain still nagging away at me. Completely disappointed in the lack of compassion and quality of care from this establishment. 10/10 would recommend to stay away unless you wanna be told your crazy and nothing wrong with you

Overall a great experience. The building is new, well designed, clean and spacious. Staff met to check you in, and do a health check. From there I registered and was directed to the particular doctors wait room. I was then called in at exactly my appointment time. I did wait a few moments before the doctor arrived but he apologized and it sounded as if It were unusual. I was assessed and treated in the first appointment and had further appointments scheduled. If only all aspects of health care ran this Smoothly.

What a waste of my time. Why be a doctor if you cannot be compassionate. Just quit. Made me feel like a bad penny, just pass me around back to my Doctor. Not willing or able to try to help a patient at all. Every visit was a total waste. If you are retired from you day job, that is being a Doctor, stay retired. KOPI seems to be a place for washed up and retired no good Doctors. Takes forever to get it, and then they cannot do anyway. Waste of taxpayers money. This is a business they are running so they can keep billing Patients and OHIP and keep making money. KOPI is an epiphany on those olden days snake oil Doctors found on every corners .what a SCAM they are running here.

Compassion is not the first word that comes to mind when I recall my approximately ten year experience with K.O P.I. The docs and nurses there are more than competent, usually professional, dedicated to their craft and I am sure make a big difference in some people's lives.
