Grandview Gynecology and Obstetrics

I never actually went in to the office, however when I was referred by my family doctor to go here for a procedure, I was called and I wanted to make an appointment but the receptionist didn’t know what type of procedure I was talking about and so she said she would call back in a few months to check in on me? So I called elsewhere and got in right away, and had the simple procedure done. Months later, they call me saying I missed my appointment and I needed to reschedule but I never made one because the girl I spoke with didn’t know what I was talking about... I explained what happened and that I went elsewhere to have it done.

I have never felt the need to write a review before but I am pretty disappointed with this office. I was originally referred to this office by my family doctor to get an IUD. I was quite nervous for the procedure so I began looking into the office and their reviews, which I suggest to anyone for this reason! After researching this office, I was horrified at the reviews I found. One of my sources was from a women's group on Facebook where women shared their experiences. Every review on this place was negative. There had been no communication from this office and after reading the reviews, I took the initiative and booked with Willow Women's Clinic (Amazing clinic by the way!) It had turned out I had been booked in for an appointment for this office as well but they failed to mention that until about a week out from this supposed appointment. I called every single day for a week straight, at different times and all were supposed to during their operating hours. I had received a call saying if there is no confirmation that the appointment will be cancelled. Fast forward a couple days, I had received an angry phone call from my family doctor about a letter this office had sent. They claimed many things and had stated that there was no attempted contact. It has been two weeks and I have tried to call five more times to let them know to cancel my referral completely. Again, not to my surprise, no answer. This office is extremely unprofessional and lacks communication skills. I am NOT impressed. Do yourself a favour and book with a great clinic and skip this one. Definitely suggest Willow women's clinic!

I was a bit nervous after my irregular pelvic ultrasound and there were some negative google reviews so I wasn’t sure what to expect.The staff at the front desk were lovely and professional. The clinic is modern and cleanDr Fung was very professional, kind and thorough. She sensed I was nervous so she explained everything in detail to put my mind at ease. She was also very respectful during the examination.

I wasnt sure if I should get IUD. My doctor referred me to Dr. Fung so that I can discuss my options. Fast forward to 1st appointment receptionist were very friendly. I waited for doctor about 20 min she came in and started talking about IUD straight, asked couple questions about history etc etc. I mentioned how I am unsure and have some other health issues. She looked at me only 2 times during my appointment I understand she has to type notes but I would have appreciated if she could see that I am nervous and not sure and would have taken her eyes off for more than 30 second and really discussed with me why I am unsure and what will make me comfortable. After she was done typing all that she said was IUd is great option, you should go to pharmacy to discus the price and then she went ahead the read literally read what I could read online what an IUD is. I didn’t felt any connection with her and it was all in 10 min and she said ok I will see you in a week when you have bought IUD and then come back for insertion. I was disappointed but Anyways next appointment was at 2:30pm after a week. I arrived at 2:25 i was asked to wait in her office at 2:30 and receptionist asked me to get ready like clothes off waist down. I layed there half naked for 45 minutes. I left my kids to my neighbours for an hour which I thought was enough for the appointment but she didnt even come in for 45 minutes. I gave up waiting anxiously and nervous, dressed up and left… receptionists kept apologizing but I was very disappointed. Coz I was so nervous to get IUD and on the other hand waiting made me more anxious thinking my kids are waiting for me! NEVER coming back Dr fung doesn't care about my time and certainly not about patient who is first time getting IUD.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Dr. Abrahams was wonderful - very warm and approachable. From the front staff to the doctors, I was treated professionally and with respect during both visits. The doctor was on time (even early!) for both of my appointments, which I really appreciated as well.

My experience was the best. The Receptionists are great, nice and very professional. The clinic is neat and clean....... Dr. Cheryl Wilson is amazingly wonderful . I will give her 5 stars. My very first telephone appointment with her was on Aug. this year (2020). I remember that day my attention was not fully focus because we had a family emergency were in the hospital at the same however she was patiently waited and explained to me all the details and available options for my condition. To make the story short, for more than two years of suffering profuse bleeding, iron deficiency, dizziness and exhausted everyday I had my surgery scheduled in less done three months. I was so grateful to have a gynaecologist at the same time surgeon like her. Very genuine and compassionate to her patients. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing experience. Top notch clinic in patient care and service from my very first contact by phone. Dr. Fung was patient and reassuring during my IUD insertion, very informative and knowledgeable with such a warm demeanour. The clinic itself is lovely. Would recommend this clinic 10 times out of 10.I am sooooo grateful to have found them.

Modern gynecology is barbaric. Received an IUD and it put me in the most pain I've felt in my life for four months. Zero informed consent, zero anesthesia, no follow up call.

From the front desk staff to the team of doctors everyone at Grandview is not only knowledgeable, but also exceptionally kind. Previously at a different office I had a bad experience; the Grandview team was a breath of fresh air and completely put my nerves at easy. I felt extremely well cared for!

Loved my experience, was surprised at how beautiful and clean the waiting area, bathroom and exam rooms were! Beautiful presentation and welcoming environment! The staff was friendly and very enjoyable to talk to super supportive! Dr Sara fung is amazing. She talked me over the birth control iud I choose and the process was great. She explained everything, which made me feel comfortable and relaxed with the procedure. I highly suggest going here. Great staff amazing doctors! Would 10/10 recommend them over and over again.
