The food is great, I have been a regular here for years as I work downtown, however they are becoming so slow re: service that it is absolutely ridiculous, I thought when it first happened that it was an off day, however the past 4x I have gone it is the same thing as I place my order and it is 10 mins before they start to make my food and I am the only customer there as I go a little earlier for lunch, I hope they see this and rectify as I am willing to walk away as a long term customer.

The food is tasty and not pricey, best food hands down in Winnipeg square, food is fresh and homemade always excellent and the food is very authentic, best place in Winnipeg for lunch and dinner.

I had yellow rice, curry chicken, and pan fried beans with one of those crispy not-naan (which I crumbled on top). Easily the best food court food I have ever had, across three provinces. The location and hours make this tough for me, but I'll be back as often as I'm able!

The owner is so friendly and gives generous portions. The prices are good and the food even better.Dine in the food court or take your meal to go (lots of nice areas to eat outside if the season permits).

Best place to get curry at Portage and Main for taste and price. My only complaint is that the serving sizes are not always consistent.

Best food in Winnipeg Square, and my favourite downtown lunch stop. Spicy, savoury, and sweet, their recipes will make you want to come back again and again. I can't get enough of this place. My personal favourite item is the butter chicken (try it in the roti with whole chickpeas). Other favourites are the pan-fried beans, or if you're in the mood for spice, the chicken curry with potato will make your mouth water.

Best place for lunch in Winnipeg Square hands down. The curried eggplant is a must try but everything is very authentic & delicious.

LOVE the food here. Lots of curries, and the food is made rather fresh. Always the two same guys too, so service is consistent.
