Karaté Shinkyokushin (Karaté A et C)

This place is wonderful! I found it by accident 14 years ago and have been with them ever since. Both the head instructors are phenomenal and experienced in what they do, and the assistant teachers and other black belts are generous with their time to help everyone improve and move forward, adults and children alike.Classes are mainly in French, but there are so many people, including the teachers, that are bilingual and willing to help that I never ever felt left behind or excluded.I highly recommend giving this place a try if you are looking for a place to try a Martial Art! I offer my two biggest thumbs up, and all of my thanks for everything Shihan Alain and Sensei Christine, and all of the Sempais at the dojo have done for me over the years! Osu!

Great Dojo, Shihan and Sensai are absolutely amazing with my two boys. They are very patient, and accommodating. They know what each individual is capable of and only asks that they work to these capabilities. I would not take my kids anywhere else.

Great place to learn and develop karate skills in a caring and supportive environment. Shihan, Sensei Christine and many of the other higher belts offer classes that are challenging but rewarding. Be prepared to work hard, but the sense of accomplishment when the goal is attained is worth the effort!!

Simply an amazing school with great teachers. Kids and adults alike start by learning respect that is so important to everyday life. With great workouts that make you work mentally and physically it’s definitely a great way to develop many skills such as coordination, self-confidence, perseverance, determination, physical and mental strength and so much more. Shihan Alain and Sensei Christine both have over 30 years experience and know how to adjust to make each person reach there full potential! I would recommend this place to everyone, always have and always will!

If you want to improve yourself: physically and mentally, you should enroll in this dojo, because this is the perfect place to train and where there is no competition feeling and no discrimination. What I love is the instructors always remind you to compare yourself with the old version of you and not with others. They also encourage you to push your limits. Everytime, you enter the dojo, greet the instructors and say ''osu'' mean you're ready to train yourself at maximum and to learn new things.For my part, I never thought that I would practice a martial art in my life. Before practicing Karate, I was so unhappy because I had a hard time and of who I was. I decided to change myself by enrolling in this dojo. Doing Karate in this school is one of the best decisions I've ever made.Thank you all Sempais, Senseis, Sensei Christine and Shihan Alain for inspiring me to be the best version of myself (physically, mentally and morally), forcing me to concentrate on things that are priorities and helping me grow.Now, I can't stop doing Karate. It became a part of my life.

I know this school very well, as I have been training there for over 20 years. This karate school caters to both children and adults. The teaching of this martial art is well adapted to all age groups. Sensei Christine Jagucki and Shihan Alain Bordeleau, as well as many of their students, have been teaching for many years, so they know how to reach and inspire their different karatekas of all ages.I would say that what sets this school apart is the family atmosphere that lives within its community of students, who are very supportive of each other. We help each other strive to become better martial artists and better people. I've seen many kids come to this school and it's extremely nice to see how they mature into fine young women and men. If you are looking for a way of life that will keep you fit physically, emotionally and mentally, as well as help with discipline, perseverance, self confidence and much more, I suggest that you drop by, take a look and experience it for yourself. Great dojo with a strong sense of community and amazing instructors who provide a supportive and inclusive environment while still emphasizing discipline. They are attentive to each student’s individual strengths and weaknesses and adjust their approach accordingly. My kids are always motivated to attend the classes and get very excited for belt passage which gives them a concrete measure of their progress and hard work that they can be proud of!

Sensei here are super patient and friendly! Kids will definitely learning discipline here. Teaching moves into every detail. Strongly recommended.

Great karate school for both adult and children. Shihab and Sensei are both great with kids and there is always alot of sempais in the classes to help out every kid.
