CSSC is great, our team had lots of fun playing in the rec soccer league. Also, whenever I call, I am always impressed with the service I receive as everyone is always extremely friendly and willing to help. Highly recommend!

Be careful with this league. I'd suggest finding a different organization if possible. You can work hard all season with your actual team and roster and get to the championship game, only to play a team you've beaten before earlier in the season bring in almost half their team as subs. These are the rules CSSC, in case you're not familiar with them, which seems to be the case.Teams that have qualified for a shot at the championship can only bring in subs who have played at least one regular season game with them." How are teams supposed to prove this?"Subs should be of comparable skill to the player that they are replacing. Bringing out ringers could result in follow-up action or the overturning of a game result." This was definitely not the case during our game. These people were clearly better than their usual players. The league giving the OK for the team to play with almost half subs and of not equal skill level during a championship game is a complete joke."

A great concept undermined by gender politics. This rule they have in soccer that there have to be 2 females on the pitch at all times ends up being quite unfair, as most of the teams are male-dominated, so you end up with 2 or 3 girls rotating the whole time while the guys get half as much time on the pitch. Also, if the girls on your team don't show up, you get punished and have to play with 4. How about treating everyone equally instead of over-compensating for the ills of the past? Aside from that it's well-organised and comes with lots of perks, and the games are generally played in good spirit. Just don't expect a high-quality game of soccer - the emphasis is definitely on the social aspect.

Excellent opportunities to participate in amateur recreational leagues across multiple sports. From Sunday to Thursdays multiple formats available too. Great atmosphere to work at as well.

I organized a bunch of my friends to join me in the Yard Games tournament and asked if we could all play in the same division. Not only did Cooper help me with that request, he ran the tournament very efficiently! All the games were laid out properly, the teams and times were very clear on the tables and his instructions over the microphone were perfect. My friends and I agreed that this was one of the best tournaments we’ve played in. Great job Cooper!

I have played with CSSC for the entire 4 years I have lived in Calgary in multiple different sports. Locations - okay. Refs (rarely applicable) okay.I recently was unable to sign up for a league as early due to a medical circumstance. I registered a small group after filtering to what was available for small groups. I was then called and told that we cannot play that night and must move to a Sat/Sun which did not work for my team. I asked if the computer glitched or why it said the sport/timing was available, and then was ridiculed for signing up so late and that it was ridiculous I would be signing up with more than a couple others. Needless to say I immediately started looking at alternate leagues.Update: I did have someone else handle the situation well by offering a discount with a league switch and creating a placeholder to accommodate us.
