I recently had the pleasure of renting ski equipment from Powder Rentals in Revelstoke, BC and had an exceptional experience. The rental process was seamless and the staff was incredibly helpful in ensuring I had all the proper gear for my level of skiing. Their equipment was top-notch and well-maintained, allowing me to fully enjoy my time on the mountain without any concerns. The staff even provided valuable recommendations on where to ski on the mountain based on my ability level, which only further enhanced my experience. What a great local place to rent some pretty awesome boards! Cheaper price point than on the mountain for sure and you get to support the town locals! The team here are very knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely want you to have a good time on the hill. I rented a board and wanted to sleep on it for a bit before I decided to buy it, when I did go back to purchase it they took the time to show me what each board in the same genre had to offer and what made each board different. Really helped me with my decision as I didn't have enough time to try every single one. Thanks so much for the awesome chats!

Great board selection.. Okay pricing, super nice guys though... Gave my buddy a free wax... Unfortunately got some old bad bindings on my rental that kept coming loose during the day... Broke my ankle on a critical turn on the cat track when bindings came undone... Out for 3 months

I have not rented from them, this is about the limited merchandise and poor customer service.Bought expensive goggles and gloves in the morning from them. They were very helpful for that. But, the gloves liners were ripping out and the wrist cord broke during the first day of use. I brought them back to store and they said it was my problem to take up with DaKine. They refused to return them less than 12 hours later. Not the kind of store that should get your business. Can't even imagine fighting with these guys about rental equipment or boots.Head down to Wax Board. That's a great shop.

My rental gear was in excellent condition, at a reasonable price, and great service. I'd definitely rent here again rather than deal with checking my gear onto a flight.

Easiest rental experience and best value !! I paid less than half what the resort was going to charge for daily rental and they have a huge fleet of skis to try, I’d definitely recommend powder rentals over any other in town and would hire from them again! I was able to try skis before I made my decision to buy them and the locals discount is super helpful!

2021- Went there to get skis waxed. Amazing. They do it to raise money for local food bank!2022- Went in on a possibility to order a part for my avalanche shovel. Miracle happened! They had a shovel that couldn’t be rented out as it had a dent in a part. The good part fit. Again a donation for the local food bank! Wow!! What kind and civic minded people! Merci mill fois!
