Dr Yuan Yuan Chen

Unable to get ahold of… sent samples 2-3 months ago with no contact…

I was initially referred to Dr, Chen from my family doctor in 2018 for a problematic abdominal issue. After an absurd wait for an appointment along with some standard tests I was given a diagnosis and sent on my way. When I went to renew my life insurance policy I was questioned about the results of these tests. In following up I discovered that not only had Dr, Chen and her staff not forwarded the diagnosis and test results to my doctor, they did not have the results on file themselves. This forced me to repeat this entire process again over covid lockdowns, adding to the hassle, only to discover at the date of this review that they do not have these new results, in spite of a consultation I had with Dr, Chen about them. This office is evidently entirely incompetent.

I am been presently seeing Dr. Yuan Yuan Chen since March of 2020. I find her to be very professional and very forthcoming and thoroughly pleasant to talk to. Although I have only met Dr Chen once by Zoom virtual contact initially over our rmobile devices. Most of my personal contact with her has been behind a surgical mask in hospital. One only has to look at the date of first contact and realize the enormous measures that are required to keep our Health Care provides safe as well as their patients. Dr Chen has followed up with me on regular basis with prompt notification of tests resuits even to extending my referrals from my G.P. Dr Shiu as well as a referral to other specialists. I would recommend her to anyone experiencing similar symptoms.

Dr. Chen’s medical expertise is top-notch, and her commitment to her patients is remarkable. She is kind, compassionate, and goes above and beyond to ensure that her patients receive the best care possible. In addition to her exceptional patient care, Dr. Chen is incredibly hard working, with her being one of the few gastroenterologist serving the Fraser valley, she always goes the extra mile for her patients and staff. She truly is a gem!
