Pro Hockey Life Kanata

Spencer was so professional and helpful tonight. We came in with 5 kids (and we all know how stressful that can be) and Spencer was kind, patient and very knowledgeable. He got my son into a hockey helmet that didn’t hurt him and fit him which the two previous stores couldn’t do. On top of that, he taught me the main things to look for in a helmet while trying to fit my sons oddly shaped head. Thank you Spencer!

*****READ BEFORE YOU GO*****Perhaps the worst service I ever got in any store.For starters, I came and handed in my skates for sharpening. Upon handing them in, I asked to see some hockey sticks under 100 bucks, with preference to Warior but not necessarily. The seller showed me only sticks from 150 and up, and told me to look in the clearance section as all the new ones are above my budget. However, all the sticks there were too expensive as well.After being told that the sharpening will take about 20-30 minutes, I came back half an hour later to pick them up.As I came, the guy saw me and quickly understood he forgot my skates. He said it'll take 5 more minutes.While I waited, I browsed again in the sticks section, and was absolutely shocked to find a whole section of new sticks for 99.99!When I finally got my skates back (the guy who insisted that I'll stay in the store and not come back 15 minutes later didn't bother to tell me he was done), I found out at the cash that my skate guards where gone.As I did not have much time, and the store's stuff didn't seem to find any for several minutes, I left the s ktore without them.Need to say, the sharpening quality was NOT good.Would not recommend it to anyone trying to buy any kind of hockey equipment.Play It Again would be a good alternative with great prices and wonderful service :)

I was so very pleased with the service I received today. My daughter's stick broke and we were just passed the 30 days...the manager was super kind and allowed me to exchange the stick regardless. I also received excellent service from the employee who helped my daughter select her new stick as they no longer had the previous one available. He was knowledgeable and very helpful.

Went in for a skate sharpening. Store not busy at all. Was told it would be over an hour by an unfriendly teenager working in the pro shop. Hopped in the car drove to hobbins in the sensplex. She was busier there and did my skates in 5 minutes with great service. Take a note pro hockey life. Customer lost

I've never had such amazing service in any other store. We're hours away from home for a tournament, and were in a bind to find a replacement jersey (because they were forgotten at home) that would satisfy the tournament requirements.The staff were extremely helpful; more than one person chipped in to help, and they even found a solution to have the right numbers put on. On top of all the help, they managed to do it in a way that didn't cost a fortune, and extremely rapidly.I highly recommend shopping there.

Terrible customer service at the skate sharpening counter tonight. I dropped off my skates for a repair and the guy asked me to step aside while he cleared the line because he needed to write up a work order. Once the line cleared, I approached the desk and thought he'd finally address me, when someone else came in, and again he took another drop off. I couldn't believe how ignorant he was.

Very cool hockey store. I don't play hockey, but I can tell by all the equipment and accessories that they have that this would be a great place to get your gear, whether it's just getting your skates sharpened or getting a new stick.

Very clean and usually has what we need in stock, however, the service is painfully slow and somewhat non existant. On many occasions, my partner and I go in and there aren't enough staff working. We go around super time when there are other customers but not a ton. We are often tracking someone down to try to get help. The manager isn't too friendly nor helpful. A lady was on the cash alone and something wasn't scanning and the manager kind of just stood there instead of calling for backup or opening up another line. The south keys location is much better and we now drive out there from Kanata to get better service...

Great customer service.I recently went to the kanata location looking for advice about my son's vapour skates he had purchased from another sports store. Matt (manager) came to help us, from the the begining to the end, Matt was super helpful finding out that his skates were too big and my son had been given the wrong size. He helped us with finding the right size and also a way for my son to use his old skates in the meantime for tryouts(solution: superfeet insoles). Just wanted to say thank you again. We were able to go back to the other sports store and exchange my sons skates for the right size this time!Keep up the good work.

Impossible to find staff members. Didn’t seem interested in helping me when I went and found someone. Fourth time I’ve been to this location with the same frustrating experience every time.
