I met Nathan Guaglio in 2008 when I brought my 2000 Acura TL in for service. Nathan was a young service advisor at the time. The engine was making a thumping noise and he advised that it needed a motor mount. He took me to the car and pointed out the worn mount. I approved the work and paid for the service. But when I opened the hood to see the new mount; the old one was still there. I went back in to see Nathan and sure enough the technician had replaced the wrong mount. Nathan was extremely apologetic and after consulting with his supervisor assured me that everything would be made right at no additional cost. He set me up with a loaner car and the next day the car was ready for pickup. We all make mistakes. But what I appreciated was his honesty and the dealerships reaction. Since then I have purchased or leased 5 Acura’s from this dealership. This dealership understands that good service wins repeat business. Recently my appreciation for Acura of Barrie was reinforced when I brought my son’s 2008 Subaru to Nathan who is now the Service Manager. A dealership in Newmarket estimated almost $8,000 in repairs and told me the car was not worth fixing. I know something about cars and the Newmarket dealership’s estimate seemed suspect. When I questioned them on it they insisted it was correct. I left and brought the car to Nathan. I did not give him the other dealerships estimate, I just asked what it would cost to safety my sons car. Nathan assigned Kathryn Stephen’s to look after me and the estimate came back less than one third of what I was told in Newmarket. And they are not even a Subaru dealer. They’re just honest people. 15 years later, this is why they continue to win my business.

Booked a regular service appointment and walked out with an invoice for over $700!!Not the best experience at this dealership, went in for a routine maintenance, and I had an issue with my tailgate which I asked the advisor if possible to take a look, his response was sure no problem we can do that...awesome right? Got a call later on that my vehicle was ready for pick up, went to the desk got my invoice and guess what, there's a $168.37 charge for looking" at my tailgate issue

Ryan Macdonald helped me get 2020 Hylander that was in their lot from a trade. I was nervous because I was coming all the way from Toronto but he reassured me with excellent communication. Videos and phone calls. We were able to finalize the price and my trade in value remotely. The dealership fixed all the problems with the car to make sure it was ready to go. Please note most dealerships do not do this until you buy it. They had everything ready so I was able to test drive , trade in my 2018 suv and take it home that same day!! It was so easy and simple. On the drive home there was a tire sensor problem so I called them. I took it to a Toyota dealership and they fixed it and Ryan at Acura paid for it remotely. I would recommend Ryan and this dealership to anyone! I have had the Hylander for over 30 days and been great zero problems.

Bought my Acura from there in 2020 which was a great experience. Took if there for a service appointment this month and had a very positive experience. Was in and out in less than an hour, nice area to wait, was explained what was being done as it was happening. Will definitely buy my next vehicle from them.
