When my buddy Casey hurt his shoulder and was walking on 3 legs, Dr. Jan and her team were able to help him totally recover, without any residual weakness, or long term medications. They treat my fur kids like their own family.

Very kind and helpful staff!! They helped us diagnose our cat with a thyroid problem and prescribed her a food that I think saved her life! Her quality of life was not very good but after sending her here to get checked out she is back to her old self!

My dog Shadow a border collie was limping and was finding very hard to walk. The staff here helped him with laser treatment and he is fine now. He is very active and energetic and is pain freeThanks to all the Staff in Essex animal hospital for all their helpI highly recommend this place for your pet.We are truly satisfied and thankful.

They were very friendly and explained everything in great detail; even found discounts and better medication options.It even has a workout area for your dog, with a pool, just for them.

30 years, five dogs and many cats later. One dog had a genetic disease and we spent $thousands to keep him comfortable. Current dog has been on meds for 8 years and collapsed in the yard. I called here for an emergency and was told they were all booked up, take the dog to Windsor. Two vets questioned her doses of meds and supplied the correct doses at a price much less than we were paying. Never again will I take a fur baby here. If I had known appointments took priority over emergencies, I would have booked a time 2 weeks ahead of the problem.

Very expensive, because it's an emergency hospital, but they work with you well if you're not able to afford itThey let me call any time of night for an update, and let me come in a few times, free of chargeThe wait CAN be long on certain days but some are just busier than othersOur first appointment was massively disappointing but as are some regular doctors apps. After that it was better, but not great. But I don't want to get into itThere are good and bad things of course.

Have been going to Essex Animal Hospital for over 30 years and have always been happy with the service provided by the entire staff at the Hospital. They are friendly, helpful and compassionate. Highly recommend.
