Staff are friendly and helpful. They listened to me and didn't try to upsell me. Great quality products at a fair price, too. I love the rugs I've bought here, and definitely recommend it to others.

The Area Rug Store has excellent selection and are very professional! Jamie knows her products and her installers are very skilled. We had our stairs done and the carpet looks great and feels great - the installation was perfect.

Went here looking for matching area and runner rug. I had previously checked out the website so I knew which set I wanted to purchase. Jamie said she didn't have them in stock but would order them for me. I fully understood this. She took my information and told me she would be in contact with me the following day.I waited three days, no call. Gave her a call and was told she wasn't in that day. The lady took my information and said Jamie would be calling me. I waited another two days with still no call. So I called again. This time Jamie answered, when I asked about my rugs she had no answer. Once again she said she would call me back. Well it's been almost a month and haven't heard anything....not that I'm waiting anymore. I have since purchased my rugs elsewhere and glad not to give The Area Store my money. Jamie was highly unprofessional and clearly needs schooling for better management skills.

Area rug store had a sale about a month ago, not at their normal location. I bought a full size rug there but they did not have the matching runner at the time nor was I sure I wanted it. I contacted them earlier this week and sent them picture of the rug I had, and the owner took care of me and sent me a pic back of matching runner. When I arrived to store, she even honoured the same price they had over a month ago during their sale for runners. Good quality carpets and good service, she even remembered me. I would shop here again and recommend this to friends and family.

Went to multiple rug stores in the area before coming here and right away we were amazed at how friendly and accommodating Jamie was. She showed us options, let us know about deals since we’re on a budget and offered us the option of taking a couple home to try out in the space to help make our final decision. Will definitely be coming back and recommending Jamie and her store to my friends and family!

What a great experience at this store! The team was helpful, patient and accommodating. After having selected a rug and releasing the colours did not work in our home, the team worked with us on different options and we are so happy with the results!

Had an area rug cleaned there, thank God they didn't charge us, it took them twice as long as it was suppose to then when we picked it up we had to return it cause it was so wet it was leaving puddles on the hardwood floors. Then we vacuumed with her rainbow vacuum and there was still soap in the carpet (rainbow has a water filter that bubbled when the soap) I spilled water on the carpet when I cleaned it up the carpet became white again I guess they didn't clean it right. They basically ruined the carpet as it is all matted since they washed it...so sad considering the cost of the carpet.

Bad service. My complaint is the same as other negative reviews (read ALL the reviews as the pattern is evident). Carpet I ordered never arrived on time. Jamie never called to let me know. Never returned phone calls. Each time I tracked her down, she would make a promise that carpet was “arriving this week” and if it didn’t, she would not call to let me know or return my phone calls . After 7 1/2 weeks I finally gave up. Jamie proved as owner she is too young to run a store. I wish I had read reviews before wasting my time.
