Chimney Sweep Fireplace Shop

Purchased pellet stove in 10/16. Since that time three techs have been at our house. First time was stove pipe was installed incorrect and smoke was coming out of pipe into our house. The next two times is because pellet stove makes a load rumbling sound. Also flames are high and was told by one tech only supposed to be 4-5 inches high. In the last month have called weekly and still waiting for a call back to resolve these issues.

Very happy with their customer service. They had a good selection of wood stoves, the one we chose happened to be on sale. They installed it for us which went smoothly. I’d definitely recommend them.

I just bought my second Lopi in two years from Steve. It was kind of an emergency so he sold me the display model, meaning no lead time, and recommended David Otis for the chimney installation. The whole operation went so quickly and smoothly, I couldn't believe it, especially since I'd just waited six months for a refrigerator and kitchen range. Much better venue for women shoppers than the other stove store. Just sayin'

They ordered the wrong gas fireplace for my home. Once it was installed and it was brought to their attention that it was the incorrect unit they pretty much said that is the way it is". After installing the wrong unit it still took 7 weeks for these folks to come and fire it up. Any & all poor reviews for this company here & at other sites are correct.... RUN WHILE YOU CAN. DO NOT USE THESE FOLKS."

Bought a woodstove fireplace insert from them and the whole experience was excellent. They asked all the right questions, I ended up with a stove insert that fit well in my fireplace and was perfectly-sized for my space. Their recommendations saved me money, worked out perfectly, and I love the stove. They gave me a date for the install, and showed up exactly when they said they would, and the bill was for exactly what I was quoted when I visited the store. Everyone I interacted with was kind and thoughtful, and the installers were even great with my young nephews, who looked over their shoulders during the whole install. Peter and the team at Chimney Sweep offer exceptional customer service! Highly recommend buying a wood, gas stove or services from them. They are informative, helpful and friendly.We recently had an issue with the gasket on our woodburning stove that we purchased a few years ago. Peter, one of the owners, took my calls, listened, responded right away and offered to send his team to fix the gasket within 24 hours! Now that is customer service!Kenny and Travis, showed up, right on time, were polite, efficient and quick. Grateful to them both that we'll now be able to use the wood stove again tonight.Thank you, Chimney Sweep! Bought the stove and pete was very polite. We told him we wasnted to pick up the stove Saturday. This was monday. Friday comes we tell him we will be down tomarrow to pick it up. He informs us we have to drive an additional 45 mins north to shelburne because he didnt have the stove instock and if we had told him he would have had it shipped. Annoying asked for some kind of compensation he denied the request. What ever go to shelburne where we are informed they have the stove but no pipe. And still not sorry or or compensation nothing.

Looking for lousy service, terrible communication and a rotten attitude? You've come to the right place! I ordered a propane fireplace insert four months ago, and it was finally installed last week. it wasn't due to Covid or supply chain issues, it was their lack of organization. Steve and Peter, the owners, do not communicate with each other, and everything is always someone else's fault. I wrote to them a total of 9 times to coordinate hookup. They told me I was lucky they didn't cancel the order. What business penalizes and threatens their customers when they attempt to pick up goods they have ordered and paid for? take your business to Blazing Design. Any money you save here will simply result in an unprofessional manner and cost you time and aggravation.

Steve at Chimney Sweep II provides great customer service. I ordered a part for a fireplace insert and he quickly obtained it. I had the glass replaced the same day that I brought in the fireplace frame. You can't go wrong with a Jotul fireplace insert! These units are a bit pricey, but are a great investment for the long term.

While I was able to schedule an appointment relatively quickly, the customer service was far from acceptable. I live out of the area and when it came time for my service appointment, there was minimal effort to contact us or follow up after my repeated phone calls when it appeared as though a technician never showed up. I finally was told that it was too complicated" to use our Ring doorbell and to "just find someone else
