Excellent communication and knowledge. 5 star service! 2 other Dr told me it wasn't broken even though xrays indicated fracture. Pain and swelling for almost 2 years. Dr Bulanda worked with me to create the best healing process. Highly recommend!

Posting as Melinda. I had a scarf bunionectomy yesterday and I was worried about the procedure but it was handled so well that I literally felt nothing after the iv was put in my arm. I was waiting for the pain of the freezing to go into my foot but fell asleep and when I woke up my doctor (Bulanda) was suturing my foot. I felt nothing except that I could feel my foot was being moved around a bit but no pain whatsoever. I was not put under, just given enough drugs to give me a nice nap. I did wake up a few times but was sleepy so just went back to sleep. It has been about 14 hours and still I don't really feel anything. I am icing how I was told to.

I found Dr Bulanda very good and helpful, no problems there.But, her executive assistant Elaine is very condescending, rude and absolutely will not listen!She acts like she is the Dr. I paid to have my insoles changed, Elaine ordered them wrong and would absolutely not listen when I called in and told her how much pain I was in.Just told me I had not wore them enough. Not until I came in and demanded they put them back to what they where before the alterationdid she reread my file with her nose in the air, when she realized she did not follow the Dr notes she panics and started rushing around,grabbed my insoles and ripped them apart.I left with the now ripped apart insoles, came back later when she was not there to have them returned to original.I had no desire to deal with this person ever again.PS Wrote an email to Dr. Bulanda and got back a 1 1/2 page reply telling me how good she is, and how I had cancelled appointments??With one line saying that not what Elaine said about my experience.

I find Dr Bulanda very knowledgeable, and I suspect she is very good at what she does. She is patience and explains procedures and diagnosis very thoroughly. However, I find her Office Administrator to be very controlling and autocratic. I had to cancel an appointment due to illness and I am still waiting for her to call me to rebook that appointment! When I call she is condescending almost to the point of rudeness. Don’t dare show up unannounced because you will not be seen. She is The Keeper of the Gate and there is no getting past her.

I had surgery, and treatment carried out, Dr. Bulanda, is knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. She does however need to rethink her staff. I could get back to have a check with her due to her admin staff who are very controlling and dictatorial. I had to cancel an appointment due to illness, after rebooking and checking the dates and times, when I arrived for this very appointment, the receptionist was ruse, and condescending, after the conversation of her telling me, I was late, I felt like I was I. The principals office, I had just travelled an hour to get the appointment, I was not allowed to rebook. “Weird”
